Poor quality seed potatoes supplied
Poor quality seed potatoes supplied. It was a small order, and many of the tubers had deep round holes in, presumably caused by harvesting machinery. I would have expected that with a small (and relatively expensive, per tuber) order, more care would have been taken in selecting the tubers, and damaged ones would not have been supplied. Would not order from these people again.

Hi,
The plug holes in your potatoes are taken by the potato inspectors from Department of Agriculture, from all seed potatoes that are imported. It is done to test for disease. They take 200 plugs out of each tonne of potatoes. This means you actually received the tubers that were tested, meaning you can absolutely guarantee they are healthy!
It does not affect the potato growth or health at all, otherwise they would not do it.
