Need better instructions
I got the sinus key test. It was negative. I did not know I should stop all nasal sprays before taking the sample. The instructions said stop antibiotics. I didn't think my nasal sprays were an antibiotic. I wish the instructions had said stop all nasal sprays 2 days before. This was an expensive test and I am disappointed. Update 08-14-25: MicroGenDX offered for me to retake the Sinus Key test at a reduced price. They updated their instructions and I stopped taking my nasal sprays before this re-take test swab. I got results quickly and am happy to have received an accurate report this time.

My experience is not over yet. My experience will be over if and when I am symptom and pathogen free. I applaud Micro for being able to spot pathogens unlike my local hospital and even the Mayo Clinic. I hope my experience serves as a wake up call for Urologists.
