When trees crash into your garden
We live on the side of an old quarry, and our back garden wall is actually the old quarry face. It's pretty stable, though dramatic, and rock falls are extremely rare. But a few weeks ago a massive old tree, uprooted by the storms from the cliff face above, fell into our garden.
I tried various tree and garden maintenance firms to find someone who would move it. Some quoted ridiculous prices, others were reluctant to get involved. I was slow to try Pincott Allen because their extremely professional website looks so good I thought I'd have to pay megabucks. Not a bit - the quotation was less than half of the first quotation I'd been given by another firm - and Nathan could not have been more friendly or professional in his approach.
I've rarely seen anyone work at a job more doggedly and energetically than the three pleasant individuals who turned up yesterday. The job was done by lunchtime, the clearing-up was meticulous, and although everything had to be sawn up on site then lugged out through a small back garden door, there was no damage to the rest of the garden. Hardly a blade of grass on the front lawn was disturbed, despite the quantity of rocks, tree roots and heavy equipment which had gone across it.
I can recommend this company with no hesitation and am planning to keep their details handy for the future.
