I have tried to buy two Paulmann bathroom lights through their website & had a query when trying to place my order. I have twice emailed/messaged them for advice & have had no reply at all. Even if I could buy through this site I would be very nervous about doing so as their customer support is nonexistent.
Ordered some lights and was quoted 2-5 days for delivery. 5 days later no sign of the lights….I emailed them but received no response. I emailed again and again but still no response… I decided to call them and was told they will look into it and call me back - They never called back so I called again and again but still no lights.
I would recommend that if you are considering making a purchase check the online reviews before you do!
I have had to now contact the bank to report this so hopefully I will get my money back.
Terrible - customer service is non existent, the delay for delivery announced when you order is not complied with and they work with GSL which is the worst carrier I have ever seen. Paulmann never replied to my many emails and could not care less that my package was lost (GSL forged my signature). I will never place an order with them again.
I ordered £400+ of track lighting on the 16th March. Immediately I realised I had made an error with my order and tried to change it which would have increased the value of the order. I received a note back the following day saying too late as it had to be amended within 15 min and therefore it couldn’t be changed as it had been processed. Delivery was given as 3-5 days and 5 days was critical as I was then away for 5 days and one item being 2 m length of track lighting I didn’t want left with a neighbour. I was sent confirmation which said this is the tracking number but there wasn’t a tracking number included. The order was part delivered on the 5th day but not the 2m track. I have written several emails but I don’t even get the courtesy of a reply. The only help I have had is via the UK technical support who sent me the tracking number but tell me they are not the contact for delivery info. Today is the 28th March and I still have had no attempt to deliver the 2m length of track which has the statement of ‘special delivery’ on the couriers tracking website and I cannot get a response to my emails. Please do not use this company as they are the worst possible. I wish I had seen the negative reviews on this site before I spent so much money.
This has to be the worst e-commerce trader out there! The light I ordered was totally not what I ordered or received confirmation! I emailed to advise them but did not receive a response. Having made an 80mm in the ceiling I was limited for other options and in desperation, ordered the fitting again.
I received a shipping confirmation by email however;
1. THE ITEM I ORDERED, NEVER ARRIVED
2. THE SHIPMENT TRACKING LINK IN THE EMAIL DID NOT WORK
3. THE UK SERVICE PHONE NUMBER IS NOT ANSWERED
4. THE info@ EMAIL BOUNCES BACK.

Good light but horrible afterservice. Lights turn on spontaneously. No support from paulmann, only a simple reaction / instruction about the manual. I would kot advice zigbee lights of paulmann
Their Urail zigbee dimmers are horribile. Making a loud humming noice and living a life of their own by switching on lights at random. I removed the dimmer and had to replace 5 spot lights by spots with dimmable HUE bulbs just to get rid of the buzzing noice in my livingroom. I made a complaint but they just told I cannot return the products since I had no packaging anymore. Germany quality?.... yeah right.
Very bad service. I have not received my order in full. I can't even assess the quality of the material, it was not installed due to the incomplete delivery. It can happen. But after 3 unanswered emails to Paulmann, after trying to contact them by phone .... 62 times, unanswered, I still don't know if I will receive the last part of my order, or when. So very poor service in my opinion. Store to avoid.
Bought a fancy light bulb worth 23 euros which had a lifespan of 15000 h and it stopped working within 1 year... called customer care ..... they say 15000 hrs is the expected life span according to company but it can stop working anytime...... Not worth buying expensive lights from Paulmann
Horrendous. Delivery six days late (and counting). Upon the third call to the after-sales service, the woman on the other end had the nerve to say, "Madam, the only thing sure in life is death!" Nice customer pitch. She then proceeded to blame the transport company (Kuehne+Nagel) as if there were no relation between them and Paulmann, me and the weather for their tardiness. No doubt the Covid year was good enough for Paulmann to send customers away in droves. Never again!
Service is zero, non-existent. I ordered 2 spotlights. One of them didn't work proparly. Impossible to get any contact by phone. And I get no reaction at all by mail, not in Germany, neither in Holland. Worthless!
This review is specifically for the UK branch called LSE Lighting. We placed an order for lights. On arrival a large portion of them were faulty and broke all the bulbs we bought to go with them. LSE Lighting is refusing to assist with replacing or refunding the items. They are now also treating us extremely poorly over email. We are at a loss of what to do and we are hundreds of pounds of of pocket. AVOID.
