Dog Rescue
I started my rescue journey by spending a lot of time looking at their Facebook page. Lots of rescues seem to discriminate against what type of dog they help, Pawprints don't they help any they can. I then signed on to foster I completed a homecheck which was incredibly thorough but comfortable. I then had a very helpful volunteer team member (Tina) match me with a dog which although I was dubious (i got the final say about which dog) but I shouldn't have been. After the most exciting time of getting updates and being able to track where the dogs were the dog arrived. She was absolutely perfect for our home, she was understandably nervous but after following the recommendations from the charity she settled and I honestly can't believe how well suited to our home she was. I was determined not to keep her as kept watch of all the others I could also help and after lots of tears when she went to the best forever family found by the team. I loved the experience so much I instantly requested another foster, who is currently on her way to me. Thank you Pawprints team for making it such a lovely experience.
