I have given good reviews to this…

I have given good reviews to this company in the past but this company is no longer what it used to be as a brokerage it was helpful and good value but since its take over it is no more than another comparison site.
And i have noticed an increase in prices since when most insurances are on the down. My last experience with them has not been good as we tried to get holiday insurance and trying to be an honest person declared that my wife had to visit the physiotherapist for a muscle condition I was asked to look up the diagnosis on her record for the quote which i did and gave them, the reply was this is not on our system is there more information?
No so i looked up what they had put on her records and got the technical terminology for her complaint but this is not allowed so was told i must contact my doctor or physiotherapist to give something that computed with their medical team. What is happening to insurance today that i must contact an overstretched NHS with nonsense requests that should be available to them with a little research. I complained but was told i would only get the same response if i went elsewhere. I think they are just looking out reasons for not paying out if you make a claim so many stories of this happening.
So bottom line bow down to their requirements or no holiday insurance and no holiday.
JUST BE AWARE This is not the small friendly office it used to be but a big concern with operators working from home.
Insurers need to change the average public just wants a simple way to insure against unpredicted events not be worried that they might have said the wrong word or forgotten to declare the right things ! This system is a minefield with the insurers knowing exactly where the mines are and looking for loopholes not to pay out when they are needed most. Any politicians reading this note the system needs to change for-the sake of the general public.

Thank you for your review, I am sorry you are unhappy with your recent encounter with PayingTooMuch.

PayingTooMuch has gone through some changes recently, we have added some new insurers to our portfolio and we have now become a price comparison site.

In regards to the medical, our underwriter provides us with specific questions we must ask in order to complete the medical declaration and as our agents are not medically trained we need to ensure that we capture all relevant information for your own protection in the unforeseen event that you need to submit a claim.
