Bad service from so called PayPoint Retails in North London

I was sent PayPoint energy vouchers to top up my heating. I visited 27 different stores in my area around Haringey, Turnpike Lane, Hornsey high street and Archway. All the retailers refused to accept the vouchers. This is disgusting service and all these retailers should be pulled up on this. These Small retailers have pay point signs visible for people to see but they do not wish to take the vouchers, apparently it takes too long for them to get the money back from PAYPOINT. These stores know exactly what they’re doing. They do not want to offer the service and do not want to redeem these vouchers and so you are left trying to find stores to redeem your Energy vouchers.
Asda Express on Tottenham Lane refused saying the vouchers are not on their system these are Chain stores also co-op archway refuse to take the vouchers. This is a flawed Service. Something must be done about all the Small retailers that are refusing to take energy vouchers in from Customer’s this side of London ,we are all doing our best to get through what is a high cost of living crisis, but it doesn’t help when retailers like this refuse to help customers who come into their store to use pay point services and they refuse! This service needs to do better and these retailers need to be dealt with for refusing to do their job jobs.

This company is idiotic

This company is idiotic. I wished to apply for an international driving licence. The first shop indicated on their website had ceased to exist and the second one had stopped providing IDCs. The website is out of date and wastes your time.

Worst waiting time to get through

You cannot get through to the customer services helpline unless you have hours to waste.

They advise to email, but don't even reply back soon enough or sometimes not at all

As a paypoint Retailer. I just wish I don't have more problems as I won't be able to sort them out.

Paypoint is the biggest fraud which is…

Paypoint is the biggest fraud which is done with the retailers. Major one is the contract. They recently started the new fraud saying the link claim by mentioning the customer has claimed the money which they try to withdraw and it never came but it’s been charged by the bank. When you check there won’t be any cash left in the ATM. Where is that money going , it’s not with the customer, not with the bank or not with the retailer. They do this once every 6 months for 5 years contract with a Minimum of £100 to £500. Even though you send a proof of money not deposited into the account they don’t accept. And their response will be it’s charged by the system automatically. If you have any problem you need to send an email for which you never get a response.

Be aware of get your time wasted

I’m a PayPoint retailer and spent 4–5 hours on the phone to “customer service.” The only service I got was listening to the same pre-recorded messages before the line cut off. If wasting retailers’ time was their goal, they’re doing a 5-star job — otherwise, it’s a solid negative star from me.

Been on the phone for over half an hour, got cut off and rang again same thing happening. There is no staff there and one of the worst company out there. No help for the retailer. All automated.
Would like to see what excuses they have .

I'm going to Thailand and wanted to hire a car, the only place to buy an International Driving License is now PayPoint. The problem is none of the shops want to process it and consequently its now impossible in my area to get one. Extremely rude staff that had no desire to help. Post office staff were much nicer to deal with than this lot. I messaged paypoint but they couldn't be bothered either

The worst customer service as a retailer i have ever experienced. PP1 epos always breaks down so our card payment machine which is connected to the epos does not work so as a small independent retailer unable to process any transactions so lost another days trade thanks to PayPoint. When is phoned 1 hour to answer phone then they say they will call back and they don't.

Customer experience below par

Most reviews from are from Clients installing the system NOT from the customers who use them. The Customer experience is FAR from perfect. Yes when it works it's great, BUT that's when it works. The problems vary with machines not working making you hunt for stores with machines that work to the biggest issue that of training users. The amount of times I've gone to use a paypoint machine and I'm told they can't process my request ( paying cash into account) either because they don't know how or are unwilling to help. My last interaction had the store wanting to charge me a nominal fee to use.

Great in theory but in practise it is still let down by training ( troubleshooting / use of system)
