I am a professional garage door business owner. looked for garage door opener and came across this site. It stated $89, so I thought to to buy 10 of them. Something didn't feel right about the price OR the fact is this website named for babies products, but sell garage door opener? I je p t searching about pcastbaby.come and found out all the scam alerts.
Seeing the UPPAbaby G-Link V2 Double Stroller listed with 999 pieces in stock felt like a red flag, but I initially thought maybe they had purchased surplus from discontinued products. As I researched more, I came across this blog and I’m so grateful for all your reviews, they saved me from a major hassle!
Payment would not go through
then 25 minutes later I got a notification my CC was added to apple pay that was not my phone
Total scam site!!!
Stay away and do not trust!!
They took my money, even added to the amount and I never heard anything from them.

Found site when searching for replacement strand of discontinued stringlights; only other options were on eBay:
Atomi Smart WiFi Color String Lights, 24ft, Alexa/Google Compatible, Waterproof LED

Even though this “company” sells baby clothes, assumed company bought discounted surplus of these discounted lights and was using their own existing store to sell inventory.
Checked validity of site before proceeding: with the exception of one questionable reviewer on trustpilot, all other sites indicated pcastbaby was legit and good to proceed.

After entering contact and credit card info on checkout page redirected to Chinese Shopify site payment/checkout page for “Mel Green”, (my shopify domain) which shows to sell pet products. Shopify contact email domain is “melgreen”, but melgreen unregistered web domain. No association with Sunwood LLC)
Pre-purchase verification:
On pcastbaby “about” section, lists pcastbaby as subsidiary of Sunwood LLC in Tarboro, NC.
Bizapedia shows Sunwood as a Current-Active North Carolina business, filed. in 2024.
Pcastbaby did not show up on a bizapedia company search.
Scam advisor trust score: 100/100 “High trust rating. This site looks safe to use.”
Islegitsite: “Potentially Legit. Maybe the website has not had much traffic but seems safe.” There was no WOT trust rating, but showed ok/not on any website block list. It was not detected by API void. The site was configured with its own domain email.
Only one review on Trustpilot, which was 1 star saying scam website, but reviewer was from Vietnam and has history of leaving the exact same 1 star, 3 word review for every review with no additional information.
Scam detector: scored 64.5/100, deemed low risk site. Not detected on any blacklist engine. Valid HTTPS found. Low proximity to suspicious websites (13/100). Website updated on WHOIS on 2/19/2025. SSL issued by let’s encrypt. US based owner and technical contact.
BLAB: even though company appeared valid through scam searches, do not purchase from pcastbaby; fraudulent site.
