We were in quite a big chain with our property at the bottom. We were under pressure to exchange due to our buyers mortgage offer expiring and I believe if PCS weren’t as proactive as they were then we would have struggled to complete on time and everything could have fallen apart due to delays with other solicitors. Highly recommend.

I had an extremely positive experience with PCS Legal. Lauren, Zahra and Veronica were all fantastic in assisting me with my conveyancing process. They were all patient and understanding, and talked me through every step of the way. I couldn't recommend this service highly enough.

Very disappointing experience with PCS Legal.

It has now been 1 year and 6 months since completion of my property purchase, and the registration process is still unresolved.

There were significant delays from the outset, including delays in the initial submission to HM Land Registry. More concerningly, HM Land Registry subsequently requested a Help to Buy discharge, but this appears to have been ignored for more than 3 months until we, as the buyers, repeatedly chased for updates ourselves.

This legal team never properly identified or highlighted Help to Buy issue/requirement to us before or during the purchase process, including prior to exchange of contracts. It was only after continued delays and our own follow-ups that the issue became clear.

Communication throughout has been extremely poor, with long periods of silence and little to no proactive updates unless chased repeatedly. We were later informed that the matter had to be manually processed due to “referencing issues” and that there would be a further 21 working day wait, despite the matter already being outstanding for an excessive period of time.

The delays are now affecting my mortgage renewal planning, creating unnecessary stress and uncertainty. I have also had to escalate concerns to their client care team due to the overall handling of the matter.

While some delays can involve third parties, the lack of ownership, failure to act on HM Land Registry requests in a timely manner, and poor communication from PCS Legal have made this an extremely frustrating experience.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend PCS Legal.

Lauren was always kind, professional, and incredibly supportive throughout. She was always reachable, answered every single query patiently, and made what could have been a stressful experience feel straightforward and manageable.
As first-time buyers, we truly appreciated how reassuring and proactive she was at every stage. Her communication and dedication were outstanding, and we always felt informed and supported.

PCS Legal took six months to complete a cash purchase with no chain. Started of with one conveyancer , then switched to another two months later and started the process all over again.

Luke and his team were very helpful throughout the whole process. My friend and I are first time buyers so everything was extremely daunting, but Luke and the team made sure to keep us well informed and explain every step of the way to ease our anxiety. Thank you!

I am more than happy to change this star rating to hopefully 4 or 5 but only if we get some urgent intervention. We started off dealing with James at Easy Choice Conveyancing and then things were picked up by Jessica and Declan (KZA Team at PCS Legal). All was going well until we pulled out of property A and gave them details of property B and now, a month later and having spoken to a new case handler this week, my estate agent is told by the same case handler that they have no idea who we are. We have completely wasted a month and are none the wiser as to what is going on. Our current advice would be don't use this firm.

So pleased I went through PCS legal for the purchase of my property, I was quite keen to complete as quickly as possible, Zahara, Lauren and Veronica were absolutely brilliant, I was constantly kept updated every stage, we completed ahead of required date everything went as planned the team was amazing, thanks again girls your hard work is very much appreciated, I would highly recommend this company communication, very reasonable legal fees and service was first class.

They explained everything clearly, kept me updated regularly, and handled the legal work efficiently, which made the purchase much less stressful.

I appreciated their attention to detail and willingness to answer all my questions promptly. I would happily recommend PCS Global to anyone looking for reliable solicitors for a property purchase.

From the very beginning, instructing PCS Legal was a terrible mistake. They ultimately charged far more than initially agreed, pricing themselves like a top-tier law firm while providing a service that was sloppy, negligent, and agonisingly slow.
Due to their complete failure to communicate, I lost a fabulous, highly motivated buyer and £35,000. They ignored this buyer for three months, mislaid crucial hard-copy documents, explicitly denied ever having them, and only "found" them much later when one of the staff members who was failing so often to deal with me went on holiday.
Their incompetence extended to every aspect of the process. At the outset, they agreed to handle a trust for an extra fee. After sitting on the details for almost a year, they panicked and claimed they didn't understand it. I had to guide them through it myself, and they took so long that I ultimately had to take the trust out of the equation entirely—a failure that is going to cost me at least £700.
During my purchase, they ignored two written requests for advice regarding a survey and ultimately in their frantic, disorganised scramble to pushed the sale over the line at the 11th hour. As a result, critical checks were missed, and my boiler was condemned the moment I moved in. Meanwhile, my buyers were threatening to sue me over PCS Legal's delays, and while my buyers' solicitor was charging me for everything they could think of. PCS Legal did absolutely nothing to protect me, unquestioningly handing me these unreasonable bills while keeping me so busy doing their job for them that I ran out of time to protect myself.
The estate agents on both sides stated it was the worst service they had ever encountered, including one agent who has been in the business for 40 years. To protect myself, I eventually had to CC every party involved in the chain just to prove that PCS Legal's atrocious response rate was the cause of the delays and that I could not be blamed.
To add insult to injury, having already ground down my health and eaten into a year of my life, they had the audacity to contact me nine months after completion. Like a bad penny, they sent a characteristically rude, abrupt note—without a single word of apology or explanation—informing me that they had messed up the re-registration of my old house and demanding that I follow their instructions "immediately."
Like others here, I simply do not believe their 5-star reviews. My experience was far too tortuous and stark. They are unfailingly rude, abrupt, and unkind, rarely even bothering to sign off their emails. My previous formal complaints to their complaints department outlining my severe distress were completely ignored.

To PCS Legal: Do not insult me by replying under this review with an AI-generated, copy-pasted message regretting my distress. You did not care in the slightest then, and you do not care now.

Excellent service throughout our property purchase. Lauren, Veronica and Zahra were all professional, responsive, and incredibly helpful from start to finish. Communication was clear throughout the process, everything was handled efficiently, and we always felt informed and supported. Buying a property can be stressful, but they made the experience smooth and straightforward. We would highly recommend their services to anyone purchasing a property.

As soon as Ali was in contact with me he was very helpful and responsive. He gave me clear instructions and gave me a good insight as to what was going on at that point in time. My experience with Ali specifically was very smooth and helped relieve some of the stress which comes with completing on a property. This was my first experience buying a house so I would be more than happy to deal with Ali himself.
