Outdated charity expertise

We do not recommend Pearce Legal for charity matters. Their knowledge is outdated and ineffective. The charity sector has changed significantly in recent years and Pearce Legal have not kept up with developments. We paid them a large amount of money, we invested considerable time in briefing them and waited a long time for results. They failed to deliver anything of value and after months of waiting, we ended up in exactly the same position we started in. Pearce Legal simply said there’s nothing more we can do and abandoned us. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Dissapointing & unprofessional

I regret to say my experience with Pearcelegal was disappointing. In a conveyancing matter, the service felt both incompetent and unprofessional. As others have noted, dealing with Tony Lynch was difficult – he came across as dismissive and lacking in basic client care. My case was passed between multiple staff members, yet there was little communication between them. This left me chasing updates and correcting mistakes, a stark contrast to my purchase conveyancer elsewhere who was courteous, efficient, and professional.

Separately, I witnessed behaviour from one solicitor that I found deeply troubling. Her behaviour toward a vulnerable individual, in my opinion, fell short of the basic standards of care and responsibility expected of solicitors, and when it results in a child’s welfare being impacted, it is very concerning.

Sadly, advice given to an already vulnerable person pushed them into a distressing debt situation. It's sad when a solicitor is prepared to behave in this manner which in my view, breaches basic standards. For a firm that advertises trust and integrity, my experience was the opposite.

I would strongly advise others to steer well clear of this firm.

Exceptional service

Sam Keefe is extremely efficient, his communication throughout was exceptional, he kept me updated throughout the sale and purchase of my house. Sam was always there to answer my calls and 100% acted in my best interest. Ali on reception is a diamond, a credit to the company. I would not hesitate recommending Pearce Legal to anyone (and already have). Very reasonably priced. Thank you so much :)

I dealt with Tony Lynch and his…

I dealt with Tony Lynch and his secretary at Pearce Legal Solihull.

Firstly, communication was terrible from this company, once they had taken my initial deposit.

Secondly, Tony Lynch is extremely rude. As a client I wanted to ask questions to understand my case. Instead of answering the questions in his advisory role (which is what I am paying for), he proceeds to shout at me, asking why I am asking so many questions?! This was completely unnecessary and I feel that I should be able to ask questions, in order to understand my case and what is happening, so that I can make an informed decision. I ignored the first time he took this approach, although I was shocked and offended by him not willing to answer basic questions, and instead responding to me in a condescending manner.

I then encountered this same approach when I asked for a breakdown of my fees. Instead of simply stating that the fees are fixed and we do not provide a breakdown in these cases, he proceeded to again shout at me down the phone in a condescending manner, asking me ‘why I am being so difficult!’ I do not believe asking someone a simple question is being ‘difficult’. I am not sure Mr Lynch is in the correct profession if he cannot answer a simple question.

Having complained about Mr Lunch’s rude responses to my questions, it was clear that this was being ‘brushed under the carpet’!

I will never use this firm again- completely unprofessional.
