It was great to talk to a real live human to help us get started. Other companies provided us with online quotes only, and it's somewhat difficult to figure out what is offered just by reading their webpages. Austin reached out to us and spent a good deal of time explaining how everything would work for us. Yes, we chose to work with Pearl because they offered the best price, but even if they were higher than the others, we probably would have still chosen to use them because to the personal service offered to us. E & O insurance SNAFU
they think a realtor receiving commission of $20k is a full-time job. Yet this is a gross figure not take home, so it is about as part-time as you can get. also the $$ taken in commission does not indicate the number of hours one works a week. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), part-time work is generally defined as 1 to 34 hours per week. NOT DETERMINED BY AMOUNT OF INCOME

Thank you for your feedback. We’d like to clarify that the distinction between full-time and part-time status in our E&O program is not based on labor law or BLS definitions. It is an underwriting determination based on actuarial risk analysis.
The carrier uses annual commission income as a consistent way to assess professional liability exposure. Based on actuarial data, the $20,000 commission threshold has been shown to reasonably differentiate risk levels for this program. These criteria and rates are filed with and reviewed by state regulators.
We understand individual circumstances can vary, and we encourage anyone with questions about their classification to contact us directly so we can review their situation.

Great To Work With
Jeramiah worked very hard to ensure that our firm's needs were met. The process can be complicated, but he was patient and responsive, answering questions and ensuring that we submitted proper forms and supplemental documents.
We did have an issue with a Tail Policy, but that issue is in the process of being resolved.
Overall, the customer service and quality of the policy are excellent, and the process of actually securing the policy after the quote and qualifications were completed was fairly easy.
