I did the September 2025 LEJOG and despite some awful weather, Paul and Bob always got us to our destinations safely and in good spirits. The brew stops were just when you needed them and well stock... See more

NC500 tour - excellent!
I have just completed my second tour with Pedal Britain, the fantastic NC500 route. As with my first, everything was excellent from beginning to end including all the pre-trip comms as well as the organisation each day with detailed briefings about the weather, conditions and distances to the various stops and that night’s hotel. The brew stops were amazing, well stocked and providing everything one might possibly want, and the lunch venues were mostly amazing too. A special thanks must go to Jamie and Rad for making it a very enjoyable and memorable experience, and for their unending enthusiasm, encouragement and laughter! We had a fantastic group of like-minded cyclists which made the tour fun from beginning to end. I cannot recommend Pedal Britain highly enough and already have my next tour booked!
I recently completed cycling the NC500
I recently completed cycling the North Coast 500 with Pedal Britain, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From the initial booking to the final mile, the entire experience was outstanding. The route itself is breathtakingly beautiful and physically demanding, but Pedal Britain’s flawless organization allowed me to focus entirely on the ride. The support crew was exceptional—always ahead of the game with perfectly timed snack stops, mechanical assistance, and infectious enthusiasm that kept everyone’s spirits high, even on the toughest climbs.Accommodation and meals were top-notch, providing the perfect comfort and fuel needed after long days in the saddle. Navigating was completely stress-free thanks to excellent daily briefings and reliable GPS routes. If you are looking to tackle the NC500 with a professional, supportive, and fun crew, look no further than Pedal Britain. I came home with incredible memories and cannot wait to book my next cycling holiday with them!
Prior to this I've cycled with Pedal Britain across LEJOG, France, Wales, Ireland, Portugal, Italy, and the NC500, I can confidently state that this company delivers the absolute gold standard in supported bike touring. Having completed seven of their iconic long-distance itineraries, I have experienced first-hand their unwavering commitment to exceptional service, flawless logistics, and deeply rewarding route designs.
NC500 - The very best of Scottish cycling
This was my 5th tour with Pedal Britain and definitely the more challenging both on elevation and some true Scottish weather thrown in but this made the personal achievement all the more satisfying and now memorable.
Jamie and Rad were great guides and their humour and motivation spurred us on as did the rest of a great team we cycled with.
Accommodation stops were in great locations as were the famous brew stops. The scenery was exceptional and the route takes you on many small and less busy roads, some of the shallow descents go on for many miles.
Pedal Britain are a very customer orientated business and this shows through the organisation and attention to detail that occurs at every turn along the tour.
My next tour is already booked!
NC500
Cycling the North Coast 500 was my fifth Pedal Britain tour - and number six is already in the diary! Once again PB provided the perfect service from beginning to end. Probably the hardest tour I’ve done - not helped at times by harsh Highlands weather - but made enjoyable through fantastic support and encouragement from our guides Jamie and Rad, great routes, comfortable hotels, and well-chosen brew and lunch stops. The fact so many on our tour were repeat customers demonstrates the high quality service offered by Pedal Britain. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
NC500 Scotlands toughest tour, but your in good hands.
A great tour and the guides were fabulous. Lunch stops and the food wagon were top rate. The NC500 is one hardest tours I’ve ever ridden on a bike and the back up and support were first class. When things go wrong in your bike and they get fixed you know you with a good company, when the weather gods come down on you and they have already got a back up plan in place, this was money well spent. My second tour with PedalBritian, and you always meet interesting people on a tour.

My first PB tour and I absolutely loved it! Jamie and Rad were wonderful guides, providing exceptional support, both mechanical and emotional. 10/10.
Absolutely fantastic week
Absolutely fantastic week, could not have asked for more help or support. I just completed NC 500 and was blown away by how strong the organisation of the route/hotels/ food stops were. Rad and Jamie were always on it, ensuring we had clear communication about the plan, brilliant refreshment and lunch stops and felt fully supported. Knowing we had a back up plan for any bike issues, our spare kit was near by, and all logistics were taken care of really took a weight off. Being able to use the bike transfer option also made it so easy. I would highly recommend this to any cyclist, and it was brilliant value for money.
Pedal Britain 🇬🇧 Italy 🇮🇹
We have just completed our second trip with Pedal Britain 🇬🇧. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Darren and Sebastiano went above and beyond with their hospitality and knowledge.
Hotels were excellent.
Highly Recommend.
LEJOG & Pisa to Santa Maria di Lueca
Just completed the Italian tour
Just completed the Italian tour. Food and accommodation was excellent. The accommodation was conveniently located to many historical sites which made evening walks truly magical. Darren and Sebastiano could not have been better hosts, whether it was handling dietary restrictions or dealing with mechanical bike issues. Truly an experience of a lifetime shared with fellow bikers of similar DNA.
Italy cycle tour
Great fun, and seamlessly run by Darren and Sebastiano!
LEJOG July - Aug 2025
The superb organisation, well planned routes, and great choice of accommodation made this trip a complete joy. Each daily route was planned to a 't' with brew stops exactly where you needed them. A very friendly and efficient support crew made the entire trip fantastic, many thanks. I hope to see you again in 2026.

Great organisation, great route, great people. Bike transfer - not great.
Great LEJOG route that avoids conurbations as much as possible and majors on the picturesque. Good quality preparation work, with a good amount of detail from Darren and the crew without being overwhelming. The choice of accommodation is great and the food stops were above and beyond.
Special mention to the guides, Rad, Ashley and Les; you really couldn't ask for more knowledge, support and competence, honestly. I expected great things and was still surprised at these guys. I'll never forget the experience and I'm glad I chose Pedal Britain.
Here's the unfortunate part. Bike collection was smooth; Darren Picked mine up and it arrived safely at Land's End. Bike return, however was by Parcel Force (I had paid for return by Pedal Britain, but there was no van passing). It was disassembled and very poorly packed in a box with virtually no packing. The chain was loose, the saddle was badly scuffed, the mudguards and wheel axles were loose in the box, which was not marked 'Fragile' or 'This Way Up'. When delivered, the box was sideways in the van with other boxes piled on top.
The titanium frame is cosmetically damaged, the carbon fork dropouts are chewed up at the bottom, the rear Bagman rack was bent and pushed into the carbon seatpost, damaging it and the mudguards were bent and damaged. I accounted for cosmetic damage prior to the trip and asked Darren to contact PF to replace the rack, seatpost and mudguards only.
I understand from Darren that this is rare and one of those things which, from the other reviews, sounds about right. But, two months on from the trip, radio silence has fallen and it looks like I'm swallowing the cost, for now at least. In my opinion, Pedal Britain should have stood the cost to me and claimed from Parcel Force themselves. As it stands, Pedal Britain are blanking me and I can't claim from Parcel Force as I wasn't their customer (and it's probably too late by now anyway).I didn't want to leave a negative review, but I left it as long as I felt I could.
Prior to this, my review would have been five stars with a bullet, so take it for what it is.
Update: three months later;no further contact and no resolution. One star removed for the damage and one for the lack of follow up.
I would still consider booking with them again, but I would arrange my own bike transfer.
Becoming a way of life!
My second trip with PB and I can see this becoming a way of life! 🤩
Just back from End to End France and it was fantastic with a tremendous sense of achievement. The organisation and logistics are all managed seamlessly by a slick team and all our needs facilitated- whilst bonding as a group of friends and keeping the human touch. Jamie and Ken supported and encouraged with a cheerful disposition no matter what, and nothing was too much trouble.
The route is stunning, with bike-friendly roads and amazing scenery, and the accommodation much smarter than anything I’d book for myself! 😁 Bikes and riders comfortably accommodated every night!
As a female solo traveller these things can be a bit intimidating, but I’ve been so comfortable with PB on both occasions and highly recommend them. Thanks team 😊
Another fantastic trip on the Portugal…
Another fantastic trip on the Portugal North to South. Great routes, great hotels and amazingly well organised throughout. It was absolutely top drawer support from Mick and Jamie, they even sorted the weather. Had a fantastic time.
Epic... Simply amazing!
Epic.... Just finished the relatively new Portugal Tour and wow whilst it is tough it is so rewarding and the vistas just stunning. Probably the toughest of the PB tours I've done so far including LEJOG but I highly recommend it to anyone. Mick and Jamie, once again you were incredible guides and above all great friends on this tour and my previous tours. Thank you to Darren and the team. See you next year for NC500 and France! I'm hooked!!
What a fabulous trip
What a fabulous trip - such a great way to experience Portugal! So many wonderful memories. Jamie and Mick were tremendous hosts throughout and the group dynamic was special too. Thanks so much to all of the team for the organisation and meticulous planning, as well as the memorable tea stops and picnic lunches. 10 / 10 💪💪💪
France End to End 2025
Just back from France end to end. Another great tour organised by Pedal Britain which went like clockwork from start to finish. The support and encouragement from the tour leaders Jamie & Ken made the challenge so enjoyable. A last minute issue with accommodation on the last night was dealt with swiftly enabling us to celebrate our immense achievements.
Would definitely recommend Pedal Britain if you’re thinking of undertaking such a cycling challenge.
I’ve just finished the LEJOG with the…
I’ve just finished the LEJOG with the very professional team of Darren, Paul and Bob. The event is fantastic value for money. While riding you have a van with a bike mechanic to assist with problems and we tested him numerous times and he always sorted it out. The brew stops never leave anyone hungry and the lunches were varied and to a high good standard.
The route is mainly along quieter roads and goes through some beautiful towns and villages that you would never see. There’s no way better to see our beautiful country.
I’m really impressed with this company and will use it most year until my spindly legs give up.
A special thank you to Paul
for his outstanding effort over the 2 weeks👏👏🚴♂️🚴♂️🚴♂️😀😀😀
Fantastic Experience - Land's End to John O'Groats 2025
A truly amazing experience. A great way to see the beautiful scenery of Britain. The Pedal Britain team did everything they could to make the trip as enjoyable as possible. Nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was good, the food was excellent and the guides were fantastic. The feed stops are legendary and really helped keep us going along the way. The organisation required to run these trips is incredible and Pedal Britain are experts. I would really recommend them for your next cycle challenge.
