Suddenly

Suddenly, they no longer had several short-term projects and turned to having only a doubt of 360-day projects. Something has been very serious since they moved their headquarters to Croatia, and I strongly advise you to withdraw all the money before it becomes another fraud scheme.

When you go to the store to buy milk and you see that all the milk is sold you also say that it is a fraud scheme? If you can't find the product you are looking it means only one thing - this product is in high demand and someone was faster than you to buy that product. If you can't accept the competition around you, go to the store where the competition is not so high.

P.S. Every day, more than EUR 1,5 million are invested in loans on the PeerBerry platform (more than enough for everyone who takes action instead of complaining around with no reason). Every day everyone is free to withdraw uninvested funds from PeerBerry without any advice from an anonymous advisor.

would not recommend

- Auto-invest is slow to start up.
- Auto-invest picked only 1 type of loan in 1 single bank, all of them related to the exact same real estate project (10 investments), despite being - in theory - different loans; and all of them at the upper limit of the strategy. No diversification.
- There are enough available loans in the market, so the issue comes from the auto-invest algorithm (or lack thereof), not from a lack of available loans. Now investments are set in stone, and I can not change anything.
- No (visible) option to exit the current loans and withdraw deposit. 100% of the money is stuck for 1 year. I can understand when not all your deposit is liquid (that's the idea of lending money), but here it's 0% liquid.
- First monthly payment will amount to 6.2% return, not 10.5% like indicated. To be fair, it's probably because at the time of the first payment, I'll be in the loan for only 2.5 weeks, so I suppose it's adjusted for the number of days. However it's not clearly explained. I'll have to wait until first payment to confirm whether I understood this correctly.
- I was looking to diversify from the industry leaders, but I won't further invest in that platform. I would therefore recommend industry leaders over this platform.

Edit about the reply:
- I think my criticism is reasonable. I don't think it is appropriate to question your customers' intelligence or use such condescending tone when they emit polite criticism.
- I didn't need any help in particular. I made an opinion by looking at the available functionalities.
- If a feature is lacking, I'm perfectly allowed to point it out. The fact that this information is public doesn't change the fact that it is lacking.
- I said "industry leader", as I didn't want to mention any specific company and give the impression I was promoting a competitor. I'm sorry if I misrepresented your market share.
- I am neither suffering nor hopeless. I merely emitted an opinion about a product.

Very good portal with occasional lack of loans

I have been using PeerBerry for short term loans for half a year now and so far I am very satisfied. Only issue is that sometimes there is not enough loans available for auto invest even if my filters are set generously. Then you have to either wait or invest manually.
For late loans there is buy back guarantee and so far I do not have any loans that would not be repaid.

Excellent market with limited supply

Having used Peerberry for half a year now, next to Mintos and Iuvo (for two years), I can now submit the following points of comparison (assuming some familiarity of the reader with those platforms and P2P in general)

- I found Peerberry to offer a very user friendly interface with all the information a normal user will need, and the possiblility to download data sheets with all the information a nerd like me needs.
- With Mintos, I've invested in 51 separate originators, with Iuvo in 12, with Peerberry about 15, however the amount of connection between those is quite clear. There are three groups, so you can keep that into account when choosing your diversification.
- With 11.5 to 9% interest without currency exposure, the yields are currently slightly higher than on the other platforms.
- Auto-invest is worse than on the other plaforms. While its easier and less prone to mistakes than on Iuvo, bigger investors are noticably favoured over smaller ones.
- Deposits and withdrawals both process very quickly, no complains there.
- No failing loan originators as of yet.

All in all, I consider this a good platform to diversify in and possibly even a better one to start with.

Edit: Due to the performance following the Ukraine conflict, I add another star. Few platforms were so quick to get all business running again in the face of major conflict.

Good but not the highest income

Hello, my overall experience is positive.
PRO:
- buyback guarantee
- group guarantee
- no secondary market (good for taxes here in Italy)
- very easy to use platform
- late payments generates income too
- good support
CONS:
- lower interests compared to other platforms (around 9.5%)
- autoinvest is slow to invest
- poor statistics
- poor languages support
- no instant withdrawal available

Not terrible, not exactly great either

I've recently started testing several of the P2P platforms, Peerberry is one of them. My experience has not been very good the past three months. Therefore, I've decided to leave the platform. This is due to several reasons:

1) Excessive late payments

I've been using the platform for close to three months now, using automated investing (real estate, short term & customized), aiming mostly for investments that involve less risk & return.

Over 60% of my portfolio is currently "31-60 days late", meaning cash is locked up in loans that do not add any extra returns for the time being. I'm confident this money will be returned at a certain point in time. However this is not only frustrating, but it also greatly reduces the returns you might receive.

2) Automatic investing

While one can simply create an automated investing approach, one could also simply pick one of the automated strategies Peerberry has created. This sounds great, in reality, however, either all or most of your cash will be used for either a single or several loans, adding a lot of individual risk to your investments.

3) Returns are a lot less than expected

Another important factor, that concerns most of the p2p companies in general in my experience, is that returns are far less than promised in the long run. The promotion of double-digit or high single-digit returns in lending is flawed, as this might be the case if all runs smoothly, but in reality, your capital is stuck in defaulted or late loans for a long time, greatly diminishing annual returns. In my specific Peerberry case, even if all plays out, most of my capital was stuck for over half of the time. This diminishes the approximately 10% annually down to 4% at best if all is paid back tomorrow, which is highly unlikely. The realized returns are even less at the moment.

Mr. Floris,

Let us explain to you that some share of late loans is the specifics of the short-term lending business. The short-term lending business is simply not possible without loan delays.

Also, let us remind you that late loans generate the same interest for every day of delay - investors do not lose anything, they continue to earn profits. For your information, the share of late loans on the PeerBerry platform is probably the lowest in the entire market. There have never been any defaulted loans on the PeerBerry platform, no investor has ever suffered a loss, there has never been a 'money in recovery' on our platform.

If you are sensitive to late loans and do not want to accept the fact that late loans generate the same interest, invest only in long-term loans. Long-term loans on PeerBerry are never late.

Auto Invest - I want to draw your attention to the fact, that PeerBerry is not an unlimited service. Investing in PeerBerry is a limited service in fact, and the demand often exceeds supply. Therefore, the Auto Invest tool can only invest in those loans that are available on the platform at the time your strategy is being processed. Use manual investing to have more control over your investment. It is a fast and efficient solution to manage your investments.

For every investor, we highly recommend learning more about the industry-specific first and only then to invest in loans. Or choose other types of investments/asset classes available in the market that matches the investor's level of knowledge.

Kind regards
PeerBerry team

This is a platform worth your attention

This is a platform worth your attention. They have great customer support, and I have never had any issues with funding or withdrawing money.
For the ones wondering about some important details on how Peerberry is functioning, there is a great interview with the CEO of Peerberry in youtube by P2P empire. It covers most of the questions one might have.

Keeps Getting Better

I've been investing on PeerBerry for coming up to nearly 2 years and last wrote a review in May of last year so I figured I'd post a quick update.

There have been several UX changes over the last few months, but these have all been improvements and the experience gets better each time. You can now also view some basic analytics on your investments, such as the originator, country, how far along their term they are, etc.

Given that other P2P lending platforms have either been exposed as scams and / or have an indefinite cash-drag period when requesting a withdrawal of "available" funds, it's only natural to have anxieties about liquidity and accessing your money. I've made about 6 withdrawals on PeerBerry, and not once have I faced any friction / delays / excuses when requesting a pay-out. After the request is submitted, there is a short period during which the status is "In Progress" (or something to that effect) but this has never lasted longer than a couple of hours, after which you receive an e-mail confirming completion and the funds are in your bank account shortly thereafter - usually that same day if you put in a request in the morning.

Given the above and their general sense of transparency across all areas of the business and loan originators, I have no reason to suspect any dishonesty or poor practices which pose a direct risk to investors.

Great P2P platform and experience!

I've been a user since April 2020 and since then have only had good experiences with Peerberry. Both their web and mobile platforms are fairly easy to use and stable (no bugs).

I've never had issues withdrawing or depositing money with them. No issues either with bad loans or non-repayments. Rarely any loans sit late 31-60 days. Even during the Covid pandemic, all late loans were eventually paid and within a respectable time period (unlike some of their other competitors!).

Peerberry offers predominately payday loans with some long-term real estate and business loans. Although they have had an excellent track record since inception, these type of loans are not without risk.

Well done Peerberry! 👍

I've been using Peerberry for just under a year and I'm very impressed.
I've averaged just over 12% interest, received prompt and friendly support when required, and even earned a bonus for referring a friend. The auto-reinvest saves me time and effort. The short term loans option gives me peace of mind that I can withdraw at short notice.
I would recommend Peerberry to anyone trying to boost their return on savings, however I would also advise diversifying. It's also worth considering the exchange rate.
Well done Peerberry team, keep it up! 👍

Invite a friend campaign... success...

I was fallowing all steps to be able to get this campaign in my account, however I was told that my enter friend code was not available in my account. I asked what to do to fix this issue next day after registration and the answer was that that are sorry, nothing else can be done as this is automated process. I wonder why they have customers service, if they can fix an error. I’ll update if this situation is solved.

As of today I was informed that they will fix my issue. I will give 5 stars in a month time if this will happen.

As a final fallow up, I have received promissed Bonus. I will keep investing.
