Excellent Service

Popped into store for a browse today and to look at the Armor Lux collection. The customer service is out of this world, I don’t know of any store that can rival it. picked up a couple of t-shirts, will be back soon

What a disappointment!

I received a defective pair of Yogi shoes: the leather started to separate from the sole, which will get worse soon!
I emailed them with a precise description of the problem and a request of a free return (I know I am responsible for the postage fee, but only in case I changed my mind or the size is not adequate, which I completely agree with, but this not the case!)
I received a reply from Charlie asking me to provide photographs and saying that I am entitled to a return postage fee refund if the shoes are faulty.
I emailed them back with CLEAR photographs, but Charlie was not convinced and found it to be "quite hard to get a good understanding of the issue through the images", and asked me to post them back!
This morning, I received a refund for the shoes BUT no postage refund!
This isn't about £4.20 postage fee, it's about principals and being just, fair and correct!
will never shop from them again!

Great company!

Great company! I have made multiple purchases from Peggs and son the choice of quality brands is fantastic. The online content they produce for Instagram with detailed videos of brands fits and brand history is always insightful.
The clothing arrives promptly normally via Royal Mail special delivery and is very well packaged.

Really pleased with my order

Ordered a couple of t-shirts that I was looking everywhere for. Only opted for standard delivery, but they arrived the next day which was great. The t-shirts were inside a box wrapped very neatly in tissue, which was a really nice touch. Would definitely order from them again, especially to support an independent high-street retailer.

Red wing boots fail.

Bought a pair of Red Wing Boots in sale. Item arrived quickly but on inspection they were clearly seconds. Very bad stitching on left boot. Sent pics to shop only to be told that ‘ they’re work boots and don’t have to be made to as higher standards as casual/fashion boots’. What utter rubbish. Had to send back at my expense and wasn’t refunded postage. Would never recommend or use this store again.

Excellent customer service

Complete opposite experience to the review below.

Outstanding customer service from the team. Notified me my purchase was out of stock in Large, promptly sorted an XL and at no additional cost sent the item special delivery to compensate.

Spoke with several employees over the phone, extremely polite and attentive. Also replied extremely quickly via email!

Bad experience

I recently purchased a Veilance bag from the online store and it arrived with scuffs/marks on nearly all outer surfaces.

I can only think that this bag was on display or had not been treated carefully. This is not normal and not indicative of the material as I have handled the bag in the official Veilance store in London. I am disappointed that a £200+ tote bag should arrive in such a condition, especially since the pictures on the website did not match this. Pictures of the marks were sent over and the owner checked these before the store had agreed the return. The person I spoke to had emailled me that I should send it back and that I would be reimbursed for the bag and the postage, quote from the email "Thanks for your phone call earlier, just to confirm if you send it back via RM 1st Class Signed For and send us a picture of the receipt we will get that all refunded for you."

I received a refund for the bag but not the postage. I sent in a query and was told that the bag was not faulty so there would be no refund on the postage back as the bag was not faulty. I called up and was told that there wasn't much they could do as the owner had ruled on the matter, they were reluctant to put me through to the manager or owner to discuss. I received no call back, unfortunately it appears the manager and owner lacked the ability to call me back.

I am very disappointed that the shop had agreed to refund the postage and then went against their word. I'm not likely to use this store again, I went out on a limb to go with an independent but with the experience I have had I no longer trust them. I am further disappointed in spending so much on an item to get it in a poorly state and then to be told that this is normal. In addition, I let them know I would be leaving feedback of my experience and I was told angrily that I shouldn't make threats. Go figure.

Amazing service

Amazing service! Very happy with my order. I got free standard delivery and it was delivered in a lovely box with tissue paper, the item itself was in perfect condition and was 100% genuine. Customer service was good too. Thanks :)

It's great that there are still good

It's great that there are still good, independent shops like Peggs and Son around.
I've been into the shop previously when I was in the area and the staff were really friendly and helpful, and it's a nice place to have a browse and check out some brands you won't see in the chain stores.
I've ordered online a few times and the service is fantastic.
My latest order had a small problem, they responded within minutes of me emailing them and did everything they could to make sure I was happy with the resolution.
Great variety of stock too and always some excellent sale bargains.

Always had great service

I've used them a few times now and always had a great service from them. Competitive prices and a decent selection of brands. They deliver when they say they will. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and will definitely use them again.

One of the best out there!

There is no shortage of mens online clothing stores out there, but what sets them apart is the customer service, good customer service that is, of which there is probably only a handful of stores that can lay claim to having 100% happy clientele. Peggs and Son I am glad to say are one of these stores. Had the item I was after at a good price (compared to competitors) and delivered next day even though I missed the cut off point for the day. On arrival, great packaging, my jacket turned up in a box wrapped in wrapping paper. I needed to exchange a size and even though I think I was out of the return period, they granted my exchange and even shipped it by DHL next day at no additional cost. Needless to say, they've been bookmarked and will be one of my first spots to check out new items in the future, where I hope to give them further custom.

Good choice of products, fast turnaround on dispatch/delivery, and great customer service. Worth checking out if you haven't already.
