Scam,they don’t even exist anymore,they didn’t respond my emails about help and they still want me to pay for no work ! Please don’t become a victim,don’t buy anything from them to avoid problems

Penalty box seem to have improved their customer service and following a refund I'm happy again.

The physical product is good and a useful exercise tool.

I hope new customers don't unknowingly sign up for the monthly subscription - beware.

After being very disappointed by my order never arriving and not getting a response from customer service, PB have now been in touch after I responded to their message on TrustPilot, and now the customer service has been excellent! All the issues have been resolved.

This review is for the product and my CS experience on two separate occasions.

The product is really good quality. I purchased it for specific program and didn’t need the workout videos. I didn’t know that the purchasing the product would include a recurring subscription. CS at that time responded rudely and with much hostility, refusing to refund charges and continuing to charge despite giving a 30-day cancellation notice.

On Jan 31, CS reach out to me again and refunded all charges beginning from the date of the cancellation notice. My experience with them was day-and-night better than the last one and was much more pleasant! For those looking for a HIIT product you can take to the park or the gym, I highly recommend this product.

Company continues to take monthly subscription even though I’ve requested via the email to cancel. Is this not theft!!!

Lost my money and never recieved anything....

On the 20/7-22 i paid 92,95 dollars for 6 penalty boxes, I also had to sign up for a monthly membership and paid 9,95 on the 27/7-22 and again on the 29/8-22.
I have sent several emails and there was only one reply that was an internal message where it says "Susan, what is going on with this costumer package?" I had to cancel my Visacard and get a new one so they could not withdraw more money...

Very sad experience, but hey can not complain about customer service because there wasn`t any...

When saw your product, I also saw the sometimes very negative reviews about late delievery or allegedly unauthorized fee charging. That being said I kept my eyes open in every part of the purchase.

Ordered two penalty boxes back on August, 15th. Hereby agreed to the membership. Credit card immediately charged, so far so good. Almost 4 weeks later I still haven't gotten any confirmation mail or tracking number. So I mailed support (at) penaltyboxfitness.com on Sep, 10th asked about my delievery's whereabouts and cancelled my VIP membership, which was free for 30 days. I mean I had no boxes to train with so far, so any content videos were useless back then.

No response at all. Another try via instagram, I got a tracking number few days later telling its on its way, and 2 weeks later the parcel arrived.

But on Sep, 24th and 25th there were four attempts to charge a fee for the membership - which I had terminated before. Luckily it was denied since I disabled my card on Sep, 13rd right after my cancellation.

This is a real no-go! You have a great product - if not to call it awesome, but if people opt-out of subscription and you still charge them, this gives you no credibility to your responses here claming otherwise.

Your cheap deal offer is fully legit, and there are people who want to pay those 10$ for the extra content. But if people just want the product, legally terminate the membership and you keep charging them afterwards, pretending you do not recieve emails, then this is simply shady.

I'm afraid my previous speakers were proved correct.

Order two penalty boxes, only received one. Contacted company to advise, there weren’t interested.
Also charged monthly ‘membership’ fee which far outweighs value of product.

Purchase on June 8, 2020.

Now they debited my creditcard. I e-mailed them and got a quick answer. That I agreed with a subscription (really not, ticked off the box. And why credit it now).

The lady said I easily could and that subscription with a reply on that email. I did so. Guess what? I can't get any answers anymore. And a second time this month that they took money.

Won't recommend them ever

BEWARE!! It is scam, they keep charging things that you not sign up to. Very dodgy practice. Just avoid!

A very dodgy company and the product is not worth the hassle!
Firstly when the item arrives in the UK you have to pay an additional £16.00 shipping fee for DHL to bring to your address (this is on top of the the shipping fee on payment). You will receive an email from DHL looking for the payment.

Secondly after nearly 2 years of buying the product they have taken a £9.00 so called membership fee that they say I signed up for during my purchase. This is total lies as if that had been the case they would have started taking the money out a lot sooner. Luckily for me they hadn't and that I noticed this suspicious debit. You can quite easily make this product yourself, don't waste your money and be scammed!!

Ordered my product in 2021 and have had membership charges of $9.95 and $9.00 to my card since then. This was NOT authorized! Sent the cancelation email and hope they stop this fraudulent charge immediately.

Dodgy. Be very wary, when you purchase something from them you are automatically put into a membership that you can’t cancel because they don’t respond to their emails and you can’t log into your account to sort it out yourself.
Some of my order was missing and I have sent several messages and emails requesting a tracking number for the missing item and to have this ‘subscription’ cancelled.
I have received no response to my emails and I have now been blocked on messenger. So it’s now gone to the bank as a dispute. Very very very disappointing. Shame on you .

UPDATE: As expected, Penaltybox gave a standard scripted reply to my review which they have written in other reviews stating that ‘they can be contacted by email’. The problem is, they don’t respond to emails and I have proof of that. And trying to contact them on Messenger turned out to be a waste of time because they blocked me. The truth of the matter is they won’t resolve the problem, they want to keep taking money, and they don’t deliver all the goods ordered. Ripoff merchants. They are not interested in resolving the problem or being of assistance in any way.
I’m sure that cancelling my card and disputing this with the bank will resolve this for me . I only hope other people don’t get sucked in and ripped off .

Final Update: my bank is organising my refund for my missing item and ‘subscription’ that wasn’t optional or able to be cancelled. Maybe Penalty Box should try reading their emails and actually responding to them in the same timely manner to which they respond to the reviews on here? Just a thought. As the average ratings on here seem to be consistently dropping!

They just debited my credit card for no reason!
Bought products from them a year ago, was suppose to be credited for returned products but nothing happened. So I guess they store the credit card, which is illegal.
So I guess they will answers this one the same way the do with all negative reviews. "When you bought a product you... yada yada... membership... yada yada..."

Fraudulent company. I bought penalty boxes and the one off certification in April 2021 and did not opt in for membership (not that this was even mentioned as an option). I noticed a membership fee in June and July 2021 and subsequently emailed in July to ask
. What this was?
. Why was I being charged?
. Cancel this membership.
. Refund the unauthorised amounts taken.

I got a blunt email stating my membership was cancelled but no explanation why my card details had been used again my authorisation and no refund.

Fast forward to July 2022 and they have just set up another recurring amount! My account was debited on July 25th and have now had to phone my bank to raise it as fraud, open a dispute and cancel my card.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. They store your bank details and take random amounts of your hard earned money hoping you will not realise.

UPDATE as per their reply: They lie…a lot! Subscription randomly re started after 12 months….looks like a broke ass kid running a company trying to get every penny they can.

I am a speed/agility and sports trainer. I currently purchased four Penalty boxes and it was definitely worth it. Allows me to get creative with my workouts I also maximizing space. Perfect for small group training sessions. Material seems sturdy and durable. So far so good

I love the penalty boxes! I have 20 of them and use them for my outdoor bootcamp classes to add fun and variety to sessions!
