Excellent quality products and superb…

Excellent quality products and superb customer service. I bought a pair of Sandalx and thd Rosd suede Cali boots. Both were beautiful, and so comfortable and soft. Sadly thd boots were too big, so I have returned and ordered the smaller size. I used a voucher fodder for both orders for 15%. A code is supplied for free postage if you are reordering as an exchange. However this would not work as I had used the 15% code. I orde4ec the boots and then emailed customer services asking them tovmanually deduct the postage. This was done within a couple of hours (on a BH weekend). Fantastic service. I also love your packaging - no plastic, and boxes just big enough for the items, not too big taking up storage space. Great company. My order number was 000141109, and I was assisted by Debbie, who could not have been more friendly and helpful:)

Fantastic customer service

My shoes arrived in very good time. Unfortunately they did not fit so I had to return them. I got in touch with Customer Services about processing my refund and they were responsive, quick and efficient.

Good Customer Service

I recently purchased the Tassel boots and one was faulty. I contacted Customer Services attaching photos of the fault and proof of purchase. I received a speedy reply from the care team offering three generous options. I decided to go for a replacement pair and I would travel back to the Duke Street branch where I purchased them from and return the faulty pair. I didn't need to make this trip as I was offered a free return by Royal Mail so it was my choice. I live outside London as well. All the staff were so helpful. Initially I expected to have a few weeks wait for my replacement and I was happy for that. The new pair came within a few days, beautifully packaged as every item I have purchased from Penelope Chilvers is. I was very impressed by all the team how my fault was handled. I love their products and the workmanship that goes into it.

Brilliant

Brilliant, efficient customer service - I sent them an email querying a discount code on a Sunday and didn’t expect to hear back until a few days later. They replied to within an hour and resolved the problem for me. Wonderful communication and will definitely be purchasing again!

Excellent all round

I got my last classic pair of PC tassel boots 25 years ago in a sale. They are still going strong and i have (with some reluctance!) just passed them on to my daughter.

I decided to invest in a new pair, the Inclement waterproof ones, as ive recently moved to Scotland and am doing a lot of traipsing through bogs walking the dog. Im expecting this pair to see me out...

Many thanks to Debbie for her lovely customer service. The only reason for a one star mark down is because Inclement boots do not come in the longer leg length.

Otherwise, all was perfect - the boots themselves, delivery, service, all excellent.

After my first review in January 2024-…

After my first review in January 2024- it has taken until today 1st of May 2024 for the company to respond. That is 4 months to respond to negative reviews.
Thus, I stand by what I say....AVOID AT ALL COSTS.. What is hilarious is that the response says that: "Our customers are at the centre of everything we do..."
Please...4 months to respond is embarrassing customer service....If customers were so important Penelope Chivers you would have a telephone number and you would respond within hours, not months!
So to my fellow shoppers I REITERATE: AVOID!

Cosy slippers

Just bought some lovely new slippers. Customer service has been excellent as I didn't get the right size first time. I can't fault Penelope Chilvers' Customer Service Team for their friendly and efficient help when it comes to returns/refunds. Thank you.

Nelson Leather Boot Review

I took the plunge and decided to order the PC Nelson Leather Boots. When the boots arrived I thought they were beautiful but when I tried them on and tried to walk around I was deeply disappointed. For an almost $400 boot I thought they would be well made. With every step I took the boots creaked super loud. No matter what I did the boots were noticeably shrill when walking. I was very sad to request a return label as the boots are very exquisite looking.

fabulous company

fabulous company, great staff and customer service and the boots are to die for. can't wait to showcase them at Cheltenham next week!the only improvement I would suggest is an exchange option for sizing issues rather than having to make a new order and waiting for a refund to come back in.
