Misled about the service offered
We are a small business, and I was concerned we weren't meeting our HR and health & safety obligations. I was given to understand that by outsourcing to Peninsula, it would make life easier. It did not. It just gave me even more work. The portal was described as making things more efficient, but you still have to download documents, complete them, then upload them, then get employees to log in and view them. It's easier just to email the document or print it off and give them a copy. I was given to understand that the risk assessment would be done for us, but it was a risk assessment audit. We still had to do the risk assessment. When I complained about this, I was told that it is a common misconception. I'm locked into a contract that I can't get out of. I've done one year and I wish I had never signed up with Peninsula.

We’ve had a really positive experience with Andrew King. He was helpful, knowledgeable and approachable throughout, with a relaxed and personable manner that made everything easy to understand. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and his advice was practical and reassuring. It was a pleasure dealing with him, and we would happily recommend his services to others.

Heath and Safety review with Tracy Dodds
We recently met with Tracy Dodds who carried out our biannual Health and Safety review. We are a small independent company with limited staff and Tracy understood the challenges of managing H&S amidst various other roles. Tracy was extremely professional, courteous and productive and she was able to provide us with some great suggestions and advice on what to look for as a H&S risk then to easily produce our risk assessments which will cut down on man hours spent producing these documents.
