I previously left a review stating how this company was a scam company and I ended up raising a dispute through my bank in order to get my money back. I wanted to write another review based on their behaviour following the dispute. They then proceeded to send me emails trying to scare me into cancelling my dispute, stating things like "We will likely win this dispute so cancel it with your bank before you lose your money" and "if you don't cancel your dispute this could go on for weeks". I stuck to my guns and didn't back down which I'm glad about. The website has now gone but they will most likely try to reopen under a different name. Sadly due to this experience and another I'm only sticking to high street brands for ordering for the time being.

SCAM - Individuals out to make a quick buck. Website has since been taken down. I'm sure it will pop up again under a different name. Ordered a "Cashmere" jumper. Arrived in 4 weeks. The XL I ordered would not fit a 9 year old child... Chinese sizes, tags and quality.

I wish I could give a zero rating too. This is a scam site. I wish I had known before I bought!! I ordered some boots which never arrived, after 4weeks the “customer service” emailed me for my address, which I thought was odd but I gave it, then after 4 more weeks the wrong item arrived. There is no number to call and all emails are ignored, now the site is out of action. So I’m left with crappy coat and £50 down the drain.

scam. wasn't able to return/refund the clothing item which they probably sourced on Shein.

Misleading website, slow delivery, shipping from china, poor quality items. Impossible to return for refund.
AVOID AND SPREAD THE WORD

Wish I’d checked the reviews first..ordered jumpers, rubbish quality, can’t get any response to return them..lesson learnt!

The clothes I ordered from Pennyworth Lane were of really poor quality. Silver trousers which were a thin plastic material, able to be squished onto a small ball for delivery. A black dress which was the quality of a fancy dress outfit. I actually laughed out loud when I tried it on it was so bad....Jumpers were OK but much too small and not much difference between medium and large. They do not give refunds easily....if it is a size issue that's your fault....if its a quality issue that's your subjective opinion. They will offer you a third of your money back or to order some other poor quality item. I was well and truly caught out....don't order from them

I received my "Houndstooth Long Coat" today and the quality is shocking. It's not even a coat, it's more like a blazer and it's soooo tight I can't even cross my arms! It came without tags as well which I thought it was odd. After reading the reviews and the hassle with the returns, I might not even try to return it and just accept I lost £50.

If I could give a zero rating, I would! I bought a coat and it’s such poor quality and fit so I immediately contacted Pennyworth lane to request a return. Their website gives limited information and suggests you email them to organise a return, which I have done several times via email and Instagram messages. They ignore me and I am left with a £50 coat that is awful and no refund! **DO NOT SHOP HERE** save your money and your time

Terrible quality of clothing. Jacket bears no resemblance to the picture and is very poor quality. Cheap Chinese copy and later found out that the same photo is used under many other different brand names which no doubt is the same company. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY

Like many others I received an inferior item that did not fit their description or photo! I have been in a battle for a week trying to get a refund......being offered 20% refund and keep the sweater......on their website it states '14 day risk free refund' not really sure how they get away with it. After 10 days I have agreed to 80% refund cos I am tired of fighting.....exactly what they want. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE.....I AM CONTACTING TRADE AND STANDARDS TO ALERT THEM OF THIS COMPANY

Don’t buy anything from this company. Ordered two items from them which look nothing like the photo and the quality is appalling. Will not honour their legal refund rights.

BE WARNED - Do not buy from this company!! Marketing themselves as quality British country clothing retailer - reality is awful cheap ill-fitting copies from China which they won't allow you to return so £60 lost.

Absolutely bad, bad service!!! I have ordered coat and was too small. Tried to contact regarding the return and there is no reply!!!! So £50 dow the drain…..do NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE !!!!!

AVOID! It claims to be a UK-based fashion company but if you try to return an item they advise you need to return it to their EU warehouse. This is not in their returns policy. The clothes have no tags, or brand labels and are terrible quality.
