Having received a 'pen' in the post, printed with our logo it prompted me to place an order. I took advantage of a 'buy 50 get 50 free' offer. I approved the proof and the pens were sent out within a couple of weeks. The pens themselves are of good quality but the printing of the pens were not. We had amended the logo slightly to include our telephone number, albeit quite small the printing was blurry and basically unreadable. An unacceptable product to send out to potential clients and suppliers. Initially, as a gesture of good will, we were offered 30% discount on the invoice. A kind gesture but that doesn’t help the fact I have 100 pens that I cannot send out due to the terrible quality. The invoice was then subsequently cancelled.

The quality seems to have deteriorated over the years. These used to be fantastic pens but a few per thousand get printed with errors, but my main concern is that they don't write like they used to! The pen is temperamental in that it constantly stops writing and I have to scribble on a page to get it to work again or even shake it to get the ink to come out. Also the coronation special edition ones were a bit rubbish because the logo was far too small and you couldn't make out if the picture was meant to be of the King or Bart Simpson!
