Excellent service yet again from Kareem (sorry if spelt wrong) needed a new tyre asap - Kareem had it sorted in minutes and for a very reasonable price. Will only ever use pentland tyres from now on as thats the 2nd time he's helped me out on the spot, great local business- highly recommend 👍

Prices not competitive but advice/customer service is worse
All was good apart the advise and information given. Unfortunately, the warranty i supposed to have, does not work at all. Tried to get answer for why it was sold like that, but no answer so far (not working and responding to emails but responded to review during close hours...)

This is the first i have heard from you since I fitted your tyres on the day of your review. The garage closes at 1700 and yet you sent an email at 18:40 and expect a response? It's a holiday weekend and the garage has been closed.
I explained to you at the time all about the warranty and what it covers. I said that no matter whether it's a taxi or driving school car, you are covered by the suppliers warranty under the offer i mentioned to you beforehand. This is an offer that we have on at the moment as normally the manufacturer doesn't cover driving school cars. I told you to call me if there was any issue or damage to your tyre but you couldn't wait to call and decided to leave your review the following evening on a public holiday instead. You may like to explain why the warranty does not work for you as i only fitted your tyre 2 days ago. We are not giving the wrong information or advice to our customers. Your tyre is covered under the warranty supplied and once again, if anything happens to your tyre, please call or pop in without an appointment and we will get it sorted. Hope that is satisfactory.

Fast, reliable, helpful, friendly
As a driving instructor if our cars off the road we make no money, noticed I had a nail in the tyre. Went on Google, found these guys and changed like for like and I could make my next lesson by 10 mins, all sorted within 40 mins if that. Super helpful, gave other options and all on a Friday just before they closed. So absolutely brilliant service and very friendly.

Above & Beyond - First Class!!
I had a completely flat tyre in the Asda car park, I had just completed my weekly shop late on a Friday afternoon. I drove very slowly to Pentland Tyres feeling very anxious. It was only 10 minutes until closing time but Karim, the owner, reassured me, gave me a very competitive quote for new tyres then drove me home personally with all my shopping, loading it into the car too. My car was ready to collect with four new tyres on the Monday, he even offered a Saturday fit but I chose the Monday. Above and beyond for customer service, a rare and excellent experience these days - First Class!!

Place is a joke.Twice I went for new tyres both times they were put on a badly damaged wheel which fitter would have noticed but obviously couldn't care as long as paid. Most unhelpful person I spoke to on the phone excuse after excuse. Definitely don't recommend
