I love the People Like Us community- it’s more than just exchanging homes- our exchange partners often become our friends. Being a part of this community has allowed my family to travel and visit places we may have never even heard of. And the savings on lodging means we can stay away for longer periods of time.

We have completed a few exchanges before and PLU was recommended to us so I thought I would look into it. I felt the ethos of the company was brilliant and very people orientated. The website was very easy to navigate and also to set up our listing was plain sailing. Communication on the platform is so easy too. We have completed an exchange and are now looking forward to an exchange from Ireland to Australia in December 2025. I'm sure it is going to be just perfect! PLU is a wonderful community: you have the opportunity to know wonderful places as a local. Most owners are nice people who care for your wellness while you visit their home, and they look after youy house as if it was theirs.

This platforms has great initiatives for swapping make exchanging easy and fun. It is will set up with good support people to assist with Web issues and the practicalities of home exchanging. The participants are the most respectful group I have ever come across on any fb group.

I love the concept of exchange with people around the world who share the same excitement about traveling. The fact that it's not all about money is something that makes this community special and humane. My family is big and sometimes I find it difficult to travel often because of huge costs. This way we get to know locals and expand our world. Love it :l

Was asked by another member for a second weekend date regarding a simultaneous exchange after the member backed out of the first weekend date months before. I accepted the new date and planned my visit to their location by reserving restaurants and buying concert tickets. Three weeks before the exchange, I received a cancellation request from the member who gave what seems to be a short term medical problem as an excuse. I don't want to be strung along again.
