I have been using Pergear CFExpress Type B cards and card readers for a few years now in my Nikon Z9 and Z6 bodies, since I first discovered them after seeing a positive review on YouTube by Matt Irwin Photography.

Just recently one of my card readers began to fail, only reading smaller capacity cards like my 256Gb ones. Shortly after that my second card reader, by now exactly two yers old, began to exhibit the same symptoms. Within a few days BOTH card readers failed completely.

Cameron at Pergear could not have been more helpful. After a few questions about the readers, and a few photos of the cards in case there was a problem with them, he sent me two of the latest CFExpress card readers and cables which worked perfectly.

The true test of companies is often not what they produce, but how they act when things go pear shaped, as they sometimes do. I honestly can't think of another company that would replace a two year old product without hesitation!

That their 512Gb & 256Gb cards are so good, yet often overlooked by many photographers and film makers, is a shame - particularly when backed by such brilliant after-sales service.

First time using this company and it went very well.
I needed the lens in a hurry and they answered my question about delivery immediately.
I placed the order, was advised when it was despatched along with the tracking number.
I paid for the Express Shipping option and it arrived , ahead of my expectations, in the UK in 4 days without any further charges
And the lens is excellent as well.
Well pleased.

After my order was confirmed and charged, no shipping information arrived. Apparently, the Item was actually out of stock. Naturally I cancelled the order, and eventually received the refund, but that process took longer than I'd like.
Moving forward, I hope Pergear invests more in their customer support.

The lenses that I purchased directly from the Pergear have all arrived fairly promptly, been superb value and have great build quality. I was concerned that I might have to pay import duties but this has not been the case.
The customer service has been fast and efficient - I inadvertently asked for the more expensive delivery option. They were very happy to refund me.

So all in all, a pleasure to deal with, great lenses, reliable delivery, and responsive customer services.

Jacking up the prices so they can brag about 20% discounts sitewide sounds like a bad deal to me; just when I was hoping to make a purchase, they throw in this silly campaign in hope for a quick buck. Hope potential customers are aware of this scheme and can avoid this site, especially during gift seasons like these.

Separately, I have bought a CF Express card and a 14mm Nikon Z-mount lens. Both arrived in perfect condition. I couldn't figure out how to attach the filter holder to the lens and emailed them - they responded immediately and provided the information that I needed.

Everything is ok with my order. First shoots with this lens look great and I am very happy to use it now. Congrats for this Mark II of 14mm F/2.8 for L mount.

I have purchased 3 cards from Pergear.
The 1st one had the label come off and the company is replacing it with a new one. The second one came perfectly.
The card I have works perfectly. I am awaiting the 2nd card.
The communication with the company was fine and cooperative. I recommend this company.

They are trying not to give me my refund deliberately. I have been trying for about 2 months but each time it is an excuse or it is another person, and now they just emailed me that they are going on holiday though 2 weeks ago they said they are going to send me my return address. I am returning this camera because it is actually terrible and has terrible focus on it.

I have been shopping at this store for several years. They were manual lenses including the Pergear brand (I think the last one was the Pergear 1.6/35). I liked the reasonable prices and there was never a problem with delivery. It was the only store that was accepting pre-orders for the Viltrox 1.2/75 with Sony E mount. So I ordered it here. At the time of the release of this lens on the official Viltrox store, I couldn't resist and bought it there too (I was looking forward to it so much). Yesterday (August 10, 2023) I received it from Perger (Czech Republic) after an incredible few days. No duty or VAT !!! Still nothing from the Viltrox store. That deserves praise!!! I bought 260 GB CFE-A with card reader at Pergear.com and was very unsure at the beginning, because the goods were not sent directly. Also the reports here were not very promising. After 10 days I asked by email and 3 days later the goods should have been sent. But here I thought that was`s, because the given tracking link (www(dot)track718(dot)com) is a (allegedly) known scam site. But it was not. The goods arrived today, 17 days after ordering, and were very very well packaged, and the goods themselves are packaged in a very nice wooden box. The goods work perfectly, as far as I could test. Only on the communication Pergear should still work.

After watching a Youtube product review of a camera, I decided to follow the link provided by the content creator to make a purchase. The link took me to Pergear and I ordered the camera. 8 days on and I have not received shipping confirmation. After a number of messages someone finally responded to inform me that the camera is not in stock and they are expecting more stock in August at which time they will despatch the order. Warning bells went off straight away in my head. I responded straighaway querying why the camera is still advertised on the website if it is not in stock. I have now raised a dispute with my credit card company. I do not recommend this website at all.

Following my email and comments left on Pergear's Facebook page and Youtube channel. I finally received my refund.

Saw a review on the camera gear I purchased and the vlogger recommended pergear. I went and made a purchase, money was withdrawn but item confirmation of shipment was never received. Received an email 4 days later stating that my order was flagged “high risk fraud detected” and I have to provide additional information to verify I am not fraudulent. I provided my receipt of the order. They took another 3 days to respond that I provided enough information and they will ship my product ASAP. I had asked what the expected shipment will take place, no response. It has been 3 additional days and I have not heard back or received any confirmation of shipment. This to me is a big red flag, I had to contact my bank to assist.

great company and good prices for promotional products and pretty fast shipping, I recommend it!
