The best money saving scheme I’ve seen
Perkbox is absolutely amazing money saver. I’ve saved over £400 pounds and I’ve only been using it for about 6 months! The customer support is second to none, I raised an issue via the chat online and it was sorted very quickly and thoroughly. Can’t find a bad word to say about it and I keep discovering new ways to use it all the time.

Airbnb voucher faff
I used Perkbox to buy airbnb vouchers for a planned week-long family holiday rental. There is a £500 limit to the value of each voucher you can purchase, which meant I had to purchase 8 vouchers in 8 separate transactions. My bank blocked my card after the 5th purchase, so I had to switch to another card, which was also blocked due to Perkbox's automatic fraud prevention (kicks in when you make multiple high-value purchases). Olivia R at Perkbox gave excellent customer service and was super helpful in lifting the block, but I did have to open multiple support requests and then supply photo ID and card details for this to be done. Finally I was able to complete purchase of all the vouchers needed to make the booking. Now I just have to pray there is no cancellation as I would only be refunded in airbnb credit! Upon reflection I conclude that the 5% discount is not worth the faff of getting the vouchers nor the forfeiture of cash refund. I am aware that the purchase of a non-refundable voucher is how Perkbox generally works, but ultimately I don't think it's a great customer experience and I will be unlikely to utilise it in future.

I had trouble with the Tastecard perk…
I had trouble with the Tastecard perk not working for me - I wasn't able to activate it in the Tastecard app or website. This is the only perk I've experienced an issue with in over 2 years.
So I reached out to customer support to get a refund and the Perkbox team got back to me very quickly and got straight on the case to help me out. Many thanks to Sofie White and Lauren Jones for being super helpful - Lauren got in touch when Sofie was away on annual leave to say that they're still working on it, and Sofie always kept in touch throughout.

It never works
Never able to make use of the “discounts” my wife has tried in vain for more than a year to purchase a voucher for the likes of Sainsbury’s- AirBNB etc . It never works like never works added to that support, apparently anyone wanting to use a platform like this only does so inside the hours of 9am and 5pm. Safe to say it’s a joke site.

After experiencing some really poor service from Currys, Lauren from Perkbox was such a contrast in how she helped get us a refund: quick to respond, friendly and just reassuring which is what we needed after all the hassle with Curry's. Solved the problem the same day!
The voucher use was misrepresented and…
The voucher use was misrepresented and i purchased £1,000. As soon as I realised the retailer wouldn't accept the voucher (less than 2 mins after I purchased it) I contacted Perk Box. The attitude was shocking, and they refused point blank to help me. I will now have to go legal on this.

Really great online support, with a real person who was able to assist with an issue I had.
Got my points removed during mat leave
I got 200 Flexi points removed from my wallet that I had left accumulating during my maternity leave while I didn't have access to the app as was logged out. I asked for support and they apologised for the inconvenience but will not credit my points back. Very disappointed for how they can rob a mother on maternity leave and just say they cannot be of further help
Edit: as you can see from the company response they couldn't care less. My login details were on my corporate devices and while my personal device was forced logged out by the app I could not attempt a new login without the details from my employer that were on my corporate email. But why would you have any empathy for someone who has been on maternity leave with no access to the emails that are telling her that the points she thought were getting accumulated and would be safely waiting for her are actually being removed from her account by a greedy business
Keep away from this company and their awful service if you can. I also converted my remaining points before they steal those too, just to be messaged by them that their digital vouchers are not working.
Avoid them if you can!
