I feel confident with this alarm
I feel confident with this alarm.
Fortunately I have not needed to use it for an emergency, but being able to continue wearing it particularly whilst I shower, has meant I no longer need someone 'on stand by'.

Excellent service for my Dad who…
Excellent service for my Dad who unfortunately is frail & experiences
falls which the alarm picks up, there is a button to press additionally. The response time to contact us is immediate, there is a choice of pendant or wrist strap alarm to suit individual needs.
The team are always so friendly & helpful, I would absolutely recommend the personal alarm. Thank you.

Could be better in several ways.
I have had this service for 3 yrs now. The last time I tested my personal alarm was 12th Feb 26 (am overdue for the next test) and I wasn't impressed with the very delayed response I received. I had a new smart meter put in 5 days later and the electrician needed to let the Taking Care team that my electricity would be off for a while. He was not impressed by the waiting time either. I wear the watch type alarm but it only has one strap to hold the extra length of strap with holes, not needed, and it needs 2 to stop the strap catching on clothes.

Chain weak
Only problem is that the chain broke too easily from the catch. I was able to connect it again with v strong thread. Otherwise satisfactory and thankfully have not needed to activate it.

Nothing went wrong but I no longer need it
Nothing went wrong, but my husband died on 15 Feburary. I have retained the alarm in case I wanted to use it myself, but haven't used it and would like to return it.
The initial service was excellent. Since Feb., I have had no need for it. Thank you for checking in.

Since receiving the replacement due to digital change over I’ve not been totally happy with it!!!
Why Four screws on back was this a botched job? It sometimes goes off for No reason and other times doesn’t go off when expected too?
I never had an issue with the original one!
It’s also very expensive for a pensioner to maintain!

The best safety net!…
The initial set up and testing was very straightforward.
Since then my wife and I have had a couple of accidental triggers which were answered immediately. The communication was very reassuring and personal. It’s also reassuring to know that all your activities are constantly monitored.

Not pretty !
Cannot fault device, fortunately I have not had to use it for an emergency---yet !
The chain provided is cheap and nasty, itchy. I got a rash in warm weather on my neck. I asked for a gold chain, they do not make and a normal gold chain will not go through the tiny slot.
I could have a silver chain, but everyone knows silver leaves a black mark. I was quickly given a cord, and that is ok.
They do a wrist alarm, the ugliest thing you can imagine.
Why do companies think older ladies do not want " nice" things ? We are still feminine creatures who want to look their best as well as feel secure .
The staff are helpful and polite and problems dealt with swiftly.

They respond in seconds if an ambulance is needed they deal with it immediately they contact relatives if I need them too and they keep me calm while someone comes in my opinion is worth every penny and my family know I’m being cared for
