DO NOT USE PETBACKER DO NOT CARE:
Put our cats in a "verified" and "vetted" home, the backer is nice but she had on her profile cats could go anywhere in the property and that they would only have 5 animals in total on the premise. We found out she actually had 8 in the end and all the cats where locked in one small room.

Our cat didn't get on with these... Obviously being a cat and we want to pull our cats and money from this job. I sent an urgent message to petbacker over 24 hours ago and the promised 24 hours response and still nothing. If your pets get abused under petbacker they won't care, they won't communicate and they won't refund avoid like the plague your pets are better off in a battery kennel. Makes me such that this is legal.

Worst company ever.

NOTE TO ANY INVESTORS PART OF THIS VENTURE: WHAT WHERE YOU THINKING?

I do quite like using a better cim

I do quite like petbackre but when you say the wrong thing name number on postcode of full address they block you and they are blocking me from getting work I do ask my clients just to give me your postcode please if you give your name and number so for instance they will block you even if a text message you so please give me your postcode only please and I'll block you do not give me your name and number they block you are losing me work I'm pissed off change your f****** happy w****** and I swear to God I will not f****** work for you again...blokc me again just because I tod a. Clinical please do give me uou full address because they will block you !!!!!!!!!!

Useless and incompetent people behind…

Useless and incompetent people behind the app.

I had to pay jus to meet the sitter and then my plans changed so I cancelled. The sitter never got the cancellation and without her confirmation I could not get a refund.

There is no customer service. I have written for weeks and no reply.

Petsitter Abuser in Petbacker

Dear pet lover who are looking for a pet sitter at Petbacker, please be aware of this lady pet sitter Ms Vicki Mah. She has abused a few of the customer dogs at Parkvilla Puchong Townhouse and also let all of the customer dogs to poop and pee at the playground area at Parkvilla. Perhaps you can investigate and ask the neighbors here at Parkvilla on how she hit the golden retriever, name Duffy boy which belongs to a customer called Ms June Chin. We have lodged the report to DVS and SPCA about this crazy lady and irresponsible pet sitter at Puchong.

Update: Petbacker have seen the pictures and videos but they do not want to do anything yet as they said they this case is still under pending for investigations. To the customer Ms June Chin, I hope Ms Vicki Mah and Petbacker will compensate you back for the injury caused to your Duffy boy. The tenants and residents will continue to monitor this reckless pet sitter who her self need help.

Had a bad experience with dangerous groomer

The pet groomer had access to my phone number. He didn’t have a clue of how to groom and damaged the cat fur and hurt my cat. I sent a complaint and the guy started sending me threats , all kind of threats. Being afraid of my own safety I sent the screenshots to PetBacker unfortunately they didn’t seem to care and only asked for the money

Update: PetBacker has followed up closely, took actions, supported me in submitting a police report and sent treats to my pets as an apology for the terrible experience. Also processed a refund and gave me some discounts for future services.

Disgusted

I used Katie Pete sit in services Kathleen mcewan for looking after my 6 shih tzus, I have 2 poo eaters so made it clear dog mess to be cleared straight away, walked 3 times a day plus out in the garden if dry, meal times stated and bed times all were ignored, my dogs were not walked once, they were left out in the rain and crying to come in (all on nextdoor neighbors CCTV) husband rocked up with crates of beer, stood smoking on the doorstep and actually went into my nextdoor neighbours garden drunk, he got lost! I came home to find sheepskin rug ruined (shrunk in the washer) £80 carpets filthy she even filmed them coming in onto carpet from the rain I asked her to use the back door into the kitchen. So traumatised dogs my neighbour was at the point of calling the RSPCA because she wasn't fit to look after dogs, I said I wanted reimbursing for the rug and a refund she agreed (obvs she knew she did wrong) course money never got refunded and she blocked me, and now it's in the hands of the fraud squad who have all her details and I have proof she would refund me, it's all in texts! I am absolutely shocked that anyone would recommend her! Oh and of course drunk hubby rocking up! Beware!

Garbage

Garbage. Dead site. No one active. Better off looking for a groomer in your a$$. MySpace has more activity. Waited 3 months and never was contacted for my job by a single person. I assume all profiles are fake but don't understand how they generate revenue. Maybe they're just collecting our info to sell to advertisers. F#ck this sh!t.

This app restrict contacts

This app restrict contacts between owners and sitters, the owner is about to confirm my booking and I told her to contact me after confirming the booking, of course I got blocked and in order to restore I will have to pay 650 pounds which is highly ridiculous as I am sending those messages like a robot. Their customer service also takes too long to reply.

I just got around to signing up as a sitter using their ridiculously stupid app. Can't believe I actually got through it, I had to sign up for trustpilot to leave a bad review because I really want to rant about how stupid it is. I have no idea who designed this stupid and counterproductive app. It's a pain in the ass to advertise your services, the logistics does NOT make sense and it was such a waste of time. I doubt if these app creators actually own a pet themselves? Now I kinda regretted signing up for their membership and giving away my vital information because I am not confident that I will get a job using their website. The app is so bloody difficult to use, both as a pet owner and pet sitter. The creators should be extremely ashamed of this absurd app.

Cannot edit PayPal email

I had my first job via pet backer and I tried to reach out as I would like to correct my email id for my PayPal, but no response. It just doesn't allow me to delete that option and add a new one, doesn't allow me to edit it and no way to transfer my funds. This is ridiculous in the name of safety! Please make your app user friendly and allow to edit payment options.

I’ve tried contact you on the app

I’ve tried to contact you on the app. My booking is supposed to be today and I’ve tried countless times to get to u for a cancellation. I finally got a date that I can rebook and NO ONE IS REPLYING ME. 24/7 to get back to a request? It’s taking days.
I’ve already informed the sitter about the changes please please do something.

customer service is terrible

PetBacker customer service is no responsive. Our sitter needed to cancel and tried to do so over a week before the job. I also emailed customer support to confirm. When we heard nothing, I also attempted to cancel two days through the app. The job was supposed to begin today and neither of us have heard back and I have not received a refund.
