I contacted Peter Barry Surveyors for a Level 2 survey on an apartment. The cost was very reasonable compared to another quote.
I was able to discuss my queries with the surveyor beforehand. The survey report is very clear and comprehensive with good photographs of all the areas covered. I appreciated the summary on key areas to consider/refer to legal advisers.

I've found the Winchmore Hill office to be extremely helpful and professional. From my first enquiry, the two people I spoke to initially took time to answer all my questions and explain the process, which I was new to.
After that, Trina on the administration side and Katie the surveyor were both very helpful, friendly and reliable. During the survey itself, Katie went to great lengths to help and spent a good time answering my questions afterwards too. I appreciated their service and would recommend them.

I used Peter Barry to complete a RICS2 home survey on a property I am purchasing. The process was quick and they were very responsive when I contacted them before and after the sruvey was completed. Was able to have a call with the surveyor who went to the property before they completed the survey and discuss my concerns and specific things to look out for. Overall happy with the service!

Peter Barry were subcontracted through a lease extension service we are using. They have been timely and clear in their survey of our property. No issues with their service!

Shaun Blake did a very thorough search and explained the problems in simple language. The survey ends with steps I should take and he said that I or the builders could contact him for advice as needed. The office staff were also very helpful.

We needed a Party Wall Surveyor for a large wrap round extension to be built by our new neighbours next door. Matthew Price from Peter Barry attended and worked with our, at present, absent neighbours' surveyor who prepared a Schedule of Condition and Matthew then sent us the Party Wall Award document. We had a few questions emanating from this which were patiently and promptly answered by Matthew. Hopefully should any problems occur with regards to the limited remit of party wall surveyors, as works have not yet started, we are able to call on either Matthew or his direct team as we note that the Act allows for the surveyors to inspect the works while they are going on as may be necessary (to see that they are in accordance with the award). We both felt that Peter Barry Surveyors were very approachable.

I first came across Peter Barry when I was selling my flat and their surveyor visited to carry out the buyer’s survey. I was impressed by how thorough they were and decided to keep their details for the future.

When it came time to have a survey done on a property I was purchasing, I contacted Peter Barry. From the start, communication from the team was excellent. The report itself was incredibly detailed, and the follow-up with James (the surveyor) was fantastic. He answered all of my questions clearly and thoroughly, making everything easy to understand.

I needed a RICS report valuation on my late mother's property. Peter Barry Surveyors provided a fair quote from the sample of quotes I received. Steve was able to come out in a tardy manner, was very polite and professional, and provided the report shortly after. I also found the report and valuation to be a fair reflection of the property. He was fantastic from day one, he kept me informed with the updated documentations sent to him and his assistant Jaynell was fantastic too as she kept me updated with the require documentation which I had to sign.
Despite my neighbour trying to cut corner by sending incorrect documentation to him, he makes sure all the correct documentations were sent according to Party Wall Act and the service was prompt and professional. He got job done so it was worth, and I am happy with the service, and I will use Peter Barry Surveyors again.
