It's red, it's velvet and it is a smoking cap. Okay its not up to Lock's quality but neither is it up to their prices, it is certainly good enough.

Great quality item, I bought this for my convalescing father, his wife had bought a cheap version, that was nasty and didn't fit (one size doesn't fit all), but the Peter Christian version was spot on, quality product, OK it was more expensive, but my father loves it and wears it every day....
