The Peters and May team have been absolutely brilliant and I would highly recommend them. We had an unusual item to ship - our shepherd’s hut from Scotland to New Zealand. This was a long and logistically challenging mission - but from start to finish we received clear comms, advice on pricing options and updates throughout the journey. The customer service was first class! Thank you.

We wanted to import a boat from Poland, and we contacted Luke Webster regional manager in charge of Asia business, he was doing a great job on quoting, following and reminding, I could just rest my trust on him on my shipment. I will definitely contact him on my next cargo.

Returning customer welcomed with awful customer service

As a returning customer my expectation was already high since i prevoisly had good experince in shipping a 57' Yacht from USA to Europe. This is also why the dissapointment was soo much harder. This time i made a request to ship a 64' Yacht from USA to Europe.

My request was through the German & Scandinavian office. I signed the contract with Peters & May in an amount above 70.000 EUR for having my 64' sailing yacht shipped from Florida to Europe.

At the time my yacht was in Mexico and i asked Peters and May to assist with having my yacht transported from Mexico to Florida, which they agreed upon. After signing the contract i heard nothing from them during a period of two weeks. I contacted the sales Manager through Whats App and mail and even tried to call him to receive update on when i could expect the boat to be pickedd up.

At the time i was personally waiting onboad the boat in mexico until it was picked up.

After two weeks i wrote a message explaining my dissatifaction on the communication and that i had hoped the boat would be on its way to Florida by now.

The reply i received was short and direct. "if you think you can do it better yourselve, feel free to do so" followed with a message canceling the contract.

I was shocked in the reply, and made it clcear that i had no intentions of canceling the contract, i only asked for better communication and knowing when the boat would be picked up. But there was no interest from the sales manager to keep to agreement and the contract was then cancelled

I wasted a good amount of time in Mexico waiting onboard my boat only to have a 70,000 EUR contract cancelled.

I later heard rumours that the cargo ship in Florida was cancelled and that they were unable to keep the schedule as per the contract. i am not able to validate this, but either way i can express how dissapointed i am in how the sales manager treated and ended this agreeement

After i recieved the message i had to find an alternative transport solution for my yacht and within 24 hours i had a skipper booked to pick up my boat 4 days later and my yacht have now safely and timely arrived in Europe.

This was the last time i will be using the service of Peters and Mays and when ever i am asked about yacht transport in the sailing community this is the story they will hear

Great service from all the team, constant updates received before the ship arrived to load our boat, then once loaded we had regular emails with the latest ETA's for the destination port.
Loading on to the ship was very efficient and secure.
I would fully recommend P&M and would have no hesitation in using them again.

Craig is the best! This was a tough passage to book in the middle of Covid in NZ. Craig and team handled this perfeclty with no issues. The boat was below decks and came thru as clean as the day she was loaded in NZ.

My boat was delayed at port by the loading vessel but Lindsey at Peters & May was always there to communicate with me on a regular basis guided me through the process until it was re-loaded after a few weeks, having the reassurance from Lindsey gave me confidence the boat will get to its destination with all the correct paper work and information required.

Shipped a boat and trailer from Florida to Antigua. Very expensive and a long delivery due to a stop over in Jamaica. All that was fine as it is what it is. The issue started wit the inspection of the unit upon arrival, the boat had a large puncture hole in the hull and a trailer that was damaged beyond repair, must be replaced. It gets better, I took the insurance to cover the possibility of any mishaps, to date (5 months later) I have no commitment for replacement and an insurance company that is doing everything in their power not to pay for the damage that they admit causing. It is a complete joke, DO NOT TRUST this company with your prized possessions, there are far better shipping companies out there that value your business and will treat your possessions with the respect that they belong. Insurance is the biggest scam out there. I will be pursuing this through the law with hopes of the assistance of the media.

The boat delivery was perfect and we would like to thanks to all the good work for the teams.

From the moment I made contact with Lindsey Ashdown regarding road haulage and shipping of our yachts into the EU, she has been completely professional, quick to respond to emails and very reactive to changing situations which has been invaluable. She has been a great asset to us as a company when we have needed advice due to our inexperience in exporting in the post-Brexit environment. Via Peters & May our ship was transported from Warnemünde to Croatia. From the first contact with the forwarding company, the friendliness, helpfulness and support was always impeccable. One has always received immediate constructive feedback on questions and one has always felt in good hands. The interaction with the customs agency was also seamless.
During the transport, one has always received updated locations of the transport ship, so that the tracking of the ship was possible at any time.

Peters & May is a great company where your shipment is handled professionally and safely. Professional help and quick responses during the booking process, and prices are good.

Only comment we had was that the crew of the boat that shipped us was overly enthusiastic regarding dates and loading times. The boat arrived 10 days after the "shipment window" (which they have the full right to) and during the load and unloading days, we were up to 8 hours delayed due to optimistic plans.
