When I signed up in this academy last summer time, I said: Ok I will see, but it will be the same as others DJs School. Boring and go to nowhere. So I follow the courses with a very strong discipline, and it's very interesting. And it's not just courses. You can get access to a big community, you can try to get some opportunities in several competitions, DJs, producers, or both. You can help others and vice versa. I've spoken with people all around the world, and that's a really good thing. In courses, teachers don't say bullshit! You have many explainations to understand what is essential to know. They say: You can make it, but you have to work hard. That's the deal, and not selling dreams. Regarding interface usage, I did have a little problem in my profile, and little hours later, the problem was fixed by an administrator. PTDJA is The place to be in these days, to accelerate your career, if you want to show your talent. I wish this school had existed 25 years ago, when i started DJ!

PTDJA is a wonderful place to learn the fundamentals of the industry and how an artist should approach their craft. It teaches not only artistic development, but also how to support others and push your career to the next level. A big part of why I love PTDJA is their focus on social media skills. They encourage you to be active within the academy, which helps build strong habits that are essential for the future.
There is always help available when needed, and the fact that they can provide real professional opportunities is a huge motivation in itself.
The connections with other musicians help a lot and make you feel less alone in this fast-growing world of music creation, where everyone lifts each other up. We also have live sessions where we can speak directly with tutors and mentors to connect, grow, and learn together.
I was already active in the music industry before joining the academy, and I am still learning a lot. So even if you are an advanced producer, if you want to become a better artist or a stronger business professional in the music industry, I highly recommend taking a look.

Great instructional videos and course information. The best part about PTDJA is the community of like-minded people coming together to support each other’s creativity. If you put in the time and effort it’s a great way to improve your skills and build relationships.

Since I joined the Pete Tong DJ Academy Campus, it’s been an incredible experience! The course structure is amazing — super easy to follow, with exercises that really help you practice and develop your skills as you learn.The community is full of real people at different levels, so you never feel alone on your journey. The vibe is positive and motivating.The content is next level — created by Grammy winners and superstar DJs who actually built their careers from scrach way before social midia. The insights they share, plus the feedback sessions, really push you to grow as an artist.There are so many great things to mention... but honestly, this Academy is the real deal. It’s an opportunity to learn, connect, and evolve in a world-class environment!

They know what they're talking about, they lay everything out as simple as possible to follow and the whole community is so supportive, and give you guidance along your journey. My work has massively improved since joining and ive still got alot to do on the course. So there loads to do to keep you going.

Definitely recommend you to check it out. You won't be disappointed with the results.

I think the PTDJA is an excellent space for those who are starting to gather some traction in their dj journey. It is industry focused though, so if you’re not looking to do clubs, festivals, and/or produce (like, you primarily want to be a mobile/wedding dj or something), there are probably more cost effective platforms for dj courses (like if you’re not trying to upgrade your presence on the socials while working through the courses , you’re gonna be a little stressed. but that has to be expected to some degree given the importance of a strong social media presence for this kind of DJing). That said, the real added value in my mind is the community. The staff and other students are supportive and professional, and it truly feels like you’re a part of something. To be able to share your mixes and tracks with successful and up and coming artists is really unique and helpful for growth. I will say that I’m occasionally unclear about the feedback mechanism. For example, when submitting to a couple campus activities (which there are many of) I received confirmation that I’d hear back once reviewed, and I never did. Yes, I can and do infer that it wasn’t good enough, but I don’t know how to focus on specific areas of improvement without feedback. I get that the team is super busy (they’re always running cool coffee shops and general mentoring sessions) but a big draw was the ability to get semi-direct feedback). Outside of this, there’s a lot of value to be had from becoming a student. However, the best way to maximize your time and investment is to have a clearer vision of your goals and identity as an artist. Yes you can develop that through their platform, but it seems to me that if you’ve already done a lot of that work you can better maximize your time and resources once becoming a member.

It has really been a wonderful experience, from the courses to the opportunities, it is a great space to learn and connect with musicians from all over the world 🙌🏼 I am very happy to be part of it 💗

The course structure is brilliant.
you cannot skip chapters, which forces you to master the foundations before moving forward.
This focused approach ensured that I truly internalized the material rather than just rushing through it. Additionally, their unique ranking system encourages the community to stay active. It makes it easy to ask questions and get help from peers, effectively bridging the gap of not having face-to-face lessons.

In just two months, I’ve completed both the Production and DJ courses. The progress I’ve made is dramatic—I’ve gained insights and technical skills here that I couldn't find elsewhere, even in programs that cost significantly more.

The courses are really in-depth, and Alex’s teaching is easy to understand. You can study at your own pace and re-watch the videos as many times as you like, which is a huge plus. I’ve found the AI coaches really helpful for answering basic questions about navigating the campus and how the grading system works.

I’ve also never had any issues getting a response from real people via email — they’ve always been helpful and responsive. The way the campus is structured is easy to navigate, and it encourages you to work hard and stay active in the community by rewarding you with points. These points can open up new and incredible opportunities that could lead to exposure and recognition in the industry.

The environment feels supportive and friendly. There are plenty of opportunities to meet the tutors in person, as I did at IMS Ibiza. I’ve also gained new contacts through other students on social media, and it’s been great to connect and share knowledge about the music we love.

The content is excellent—detailed, fresh, and genuinely well done. Pete and Alex clearly provide the most instructive and helpful tips; they have a knack for teaching and clear communication. In contrast, the DJ sections seem less focused on teaching and more on sharing their ideas and approaches. I appreciate the insights these DJs offer. Diplo is my favorite; he communicates honestly and calmly.

I did notice some presentations contain typos or misspellings that could use updating.

The Producer course is quite intense and advanced, but Alex presents it in his engaging Italian style, making it easy to follow and enjoyable. Overall, it has been a great experience so far!

I joined the academy with high expectations, and they were met in a way that felt grounded, practical, and genuinely valuable.

What stood out most was the clarity. The material isn’t about hype or shortcuts, but about understanding why things work, how to apply them in real situations, and how to build sustainably over time. Everything feels intentional and well-structured, with a strong balance between strategy, mindset, and execution.

There’s also a noticeable level of care in how knowledge is shared. It doesn’t feel like a one-size-fits-all program, but something designed to help you think independently and make better decisions long-term.

The producer classes is a fantastic value and really covers the fundamentals in a meaningful way. The lessons are organized in a way to breakdown the foundational concepts to be readily applicable to any production process. There are a lot of lesson but once you get through one, it’s a useful resource to reference whenever you get stuck during the process. The community is great with a lot of participation from the many members.

Great experience with Petetong Academy. The content is clear, practical, and easy to follow. Highly recommended for anyone looking to improve their skills.

Beware, there are many people in the forums asking for refunds, but these posts soon get deleted by admins, while they don't fix broken parts of the site and don't keep the customers happy, check also all the negative reviews on reddit.

Producer academy is broken, they don't respond to support requests for billing issues when they overcharge you, refuse any and all refunds and the content is not as good as what you might find on youtube. The featured artists don't teach you production, just tips it is some other guy teaching mostly and it is mostly focused on beginners. The videos with diplo and parisi are casual 'tips and tricks' but they are a bit all over the place and don't give any big insights.

Better off just browsing free stuff on youtube. waste of money

I enrolled in the Pete Tong DJ Academy on December 7 using a Beatport trial code because I wanted structured, step-by-step instruction to noticeably improve my DJing. After working through several chapters, I canceled because the teaching style didn’t support the kind of technical foundation I was looking for.

A lot of the course is high-level: brief explanations, a short demo, then “go practice,” without much breakdown of how to troubleshoot, what to listen for, or how to correct common mistakes. As a DJ building a streaming-focused workflow, I also found the material heavily centered on traditional club DJing and light on modern streaming/tech realities.

One “Learn to Count” lesson was the turning point for me: the way timing concepts were explained felt confusing and didn’t match standard definitions I’ve learned elsewhere, which made it hard to trust the course as a fundamentals resource.

The real strength (and the reason someone else might love it): the networking/community/talent pool angle. If your goal is meeting other DJs, getting visibility, and plugging into opportunities, that part may be genuinely valuable.

For my path, streaming-oriented performance and deeper technical instruction, the benefits didn’t justify $13-24/month.

When they launched the platform, they offered lifetime access. However, out of nowhere, they changed this policy. Now I can only log in, but they have removed all my points and access. I feel scammed.

Payment Sync Issue

I’m still having issues with my course subscription. I made the Black Friday payment, but the system still hasn’t recognized it. I sent an email to support and haven’t received a response yet. My account is still blocked from accessing the classes.

There's no way to unsubscribe from them! I paid a "one-time payment," but they keep billing me! Scammers!!
