I moved my boys pet insurance over to petgevity, hadn't heard of them but they have been amazing, I've had to claim a couple of times and they paid out no problems, which I always worry about with a direct claim, Vets was happy with them as well

Customer service doesn't exist, and be mindful of exclusions
The payout for vet services was quite quick, but the customer service doesn't exist.
I've asked for a documentation of what has been paid out after my dog needed an emergency care for my records. Two months and a few reminding emails later and I still didn't get anything from Petgevity apart from an email saying their system doesn't show documentation for the claim indeed.
Also, as a company that is said to insure dogs with pre-existing conditions, the amount of exclusions is just ridiculous (to the point that all the grass seed incidents are not covered because of a single grass seed caught two years ago, and all skin problems excluded from insurance as a result of past ear infection). Staying with them only because I don't have a choice really...

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback.
I can see that you have a lifetime policy with us. This policy does not cover pre-existing conditions. A pre-existing condition is anything before the cover start date or in the waiting period.
We do not have a list of cancers which we cover, as we look to cover any unforeseen accidents or illnesses if this is something that occurs in the lifetime of the policy. There are no conditions that we would flatly say cannot be covered, subject to the claim being assessed on a claim-by-claim basis.

No price increase
Have been with Petgevity for 3 years (Petsure originally). Had to claim in Spring 2025 and this was processed quickly and efficently. It was then great to find the two subsequent renewals did not increase the premiums.

Spoke with someone to review the policy and it is was really simple.
I've recently claimed on the policy and the process was clear and the form easy to follow. I was fully paid out less the excess.
