I've just used petrol map for the first time and looking for the cheapest fuel for my car, diesel. I've just returned from Australia after many months and I find the nearest and cheapest is Morrisons... See more

Petrolmap appears to be a sham
I signed up for this service and immediately received several spam emails trying to sell me magazines, insurance and car parts. I suspect it's an email harvesting ruse. Best not to sign up for this sham website, in my personal opinion.
Completely inaccurate prices
Completely inaccurate prices. I should have looked on trustpilot before opening an account and using it. DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE complete waste of time
Pumped!
This site is absolutely totally out of touch /date. It states the BP garage near me is selling normal diesel at £154/L 10/6/22 when it's actually £191/L... They've got they're finger somewhere (in relation to pumps), but it's not on the pulse of pump prices!
Site appears to be rarely updated
Site appears to be rarely updated with price changes, and questionable information on outlets. Visited 3 garages some distance away from home that were supposedly much cheaper than local outlet but all were more expensive - so a wasted journey. Worse still one garage visited appears to have been closed for a very long time given the derelict buildings and undergrowth growing around the forecourt - search on WV10 0AE and you will see Essar garage selling petrol at £1.15/litre. Thought it was too good to be true, and it was...
Prices NOT updated often enough so misleading.
A comparison website is only as good as its up to date data. When petrol prices only went up occasionally petrolmap was a good guide. Since the current rapid price increases have happened petrol map often does not reflect the CURRENT prices displayed at the outlets - therefore it is often misleading and basically rubbish.
Totally unreliable
The prices you see are different to the ones at the pump, almost always higher at the pump. By the time you are at the petrol station is too late, you might as well fill up and not use this useless website.
When I complained to them the response was "well, we can't guarantee the prices". What is the point of using an unreliable website.

Everytime I go onto this site the prices are always outdated.Where is the point in using it when it is so unreliable.
Waste my time!
Looks good but turns out to be useless
Looks good but turns out to be useless. Prices way out of date. Updated today my a#se.
Awful - close your account to unsubscribe
As mentioned by all previous reviews this is useless, prices are totally out of date - however I did find out how to "unsubscribe" ... log on to the website, go to account settings and close!!
Absolute rubbish
Absolute rubbish, just want to collect your personal information to monetize steer clear of these type of sites
They want my car registration and…
They want my car registration and mobile number to enable me to unsubscribe their spam emails. I'm hardly likely to give them even more information just to stop them emailing me.
Just not accurate
Just not accurate 6p more than quoted on their site. Avoid. Better to get garage phone number and phone them yourself
great idea wrong & outdated info support seemed useless too
useless even emailed them sent me to a garage that didnt sell e5 next garage was 7p more than advertised.
the response "you need to take it up with the garage" so i need to tell the garage to change their prices to match your app & sell fuel they dont ?
but i got a couple of responses
never the price stated (been comparing for a month) a garage i know sells e5 wouldnt show even using the garages postcode but listed e5 under the available tab
told them needs a way of users updating themselves until then its useless
shame has so much potential
petrol prices suppose to be checked on…
petrol prices suppose to be checked on daily basis , but prices at the pumps nothing like petrol map say ! i only use E5 , and its always 5/6 pence more than petrol map say , so complete waste of time !
They don't know the difference between
Absolutely useless. They've been telling everyone that Premium petrol is £1.45 near me when that is the price of Standard unleaded (E10). The Premium fuel (E5 and above, 95-99 Ron) is £1.65, not much of a difference! Told them many times they have Standard and Premium prices mixed but they don't listen. Went out of my way the first time to buy Esso's Supreme unleaded only to find it was a lot more than PetrolMap were saying. Avoid this site.

Cannot “unsubscribe” from “Petrolmap.co.uk.
I joined “petrolmap.do.uk” a few months ago but found that lots of there posts were inaccurate and so I decided to “unsubscribe” this seems impossible I have attempted many times by clicking onto their unsubscribe link but to no avail they just keep sending me emails 3 or 4 times a day, please be aware of this before you join their site.
