Can't thank pets relaxed enough from the first phone call to them coming out to put my beautiful dog milo to sleep I am so glad I had him put to sleep at home it's was so peaceful and relaxing the vet was very caring and professional he made a very sad time a bit easier we got to sit and be with milo as long as we needed thank you so much for your friendly kind service would highly recommend pets relaxed to any of my friends and family 💕 love the Mooney family xxx

We called pets relaxed as our dog was ill. The vet that came was Thorsten. he diagnosed our dog and advised the best course of action was PTS. He was compassionate and understanding with our feelings too. Thornton was patient and allowed us to go on our time. As upsetting the visit was he put our dog at ease and made the awful experience bearable. I will certainly recommend Pets relaxed

Sadly we had to have our little dog Frankie put to sleep .Thorsten made an emotional experience calming and peaceful for Frankie .Being with her family at home .Highly recommend Pets relaxed team .

My dog had a trapped nerve in her back . She was having physio hydrotherapy and massage as much as that was helping she needed something else . I rang pets relaxed to see of accupuncture could help and I was offered an appointment the day after . It was done all very calmly and my dog loved the treats afterwards . After 3 sessions she was fine .Great service and very professional.

I can’t thank them enough. A fantastic friendly and helpful service right from picking up the phone to coming out to see my dog. Being seen at home was so helpful. It made the experience far less stressful for my dog. The vet that came was excellent. I will definitely be using them again.

We have a Large Mainecoon, Lord Ozzycoon (OZZY) he is six years old and is in perfect health. Ozzy needs to have annual shots for cat flu etc, in order to validate his petplan policy. Ozzy is very strong and gets very traumatised by having to go into a v large pet carrier, and then transported to the vets. This is stressful for us too! We decided to find a vet who did home visits, and so we discovered Pets Relaxed. They are based in Diggle, about 5 miles from us, so it was perfect. On the day, Thorsten, one of the vets at the practice. He works with his partner Katja and they provide a relaxed service for most pets, arrived spot on time. Ozzycoon was a little nervous , but let Thorsten stroke him. So far so good, however we had to restrain him to allow Thorsten to administer the shots and take a look at him properly. Ozzy is very strong and quick as lightning, and lashed out, impailing Thorsten with his claws. Ozzy calmed down as soon as Thorsten left, which was great, as a visit to the vets. Screws him up for a few days. We were very impressed with the visit, and whoever was going to jab Ozzy , was going to be spat at , hissed at, and lashed out at! Sorry he got you Thorsten, but top marks, and you are now our regular vet! Pets relaxed is great, and We have no problems giving top marks!! We sadly had to say goodbye to our beloved 13 year old cat, Thomas, after a devastating diagnosis of pancreatic cancer and no further treatment options available. We had taken Thomas home from the vets for a final 24 hours to say our goodbyes, with the plan that he would return to the vets the following day to be put to sleep. However, what we really wanted was for Thomas to be able to pass away in the comfort of his own home, in a familiar environment. We contacted pets relaxed the night before and left a message, desperate for them to help as we couldn’t bare the thought of taking him back to the vets. We received a phone call the following morning and arranged for a home euthanasia that same day, those hours leading up seemed to pass far too quickly and soon Thorsten was knocking at the door. My anxiety eased as soon as I met Thorsten, he was empathetic and seemed to really care about what was best for us and Thomas. The whole process was dignified and relaxed and in no way rushed. Thomas passed away peacefully in our arms, outside in the garden in the sun, something we wouldn’t have been able to do at the vets. We couldn’t recommend Pets Relaxed and Thorsten enough for everything they did for us.

I approached pets relaxed for holistic advice for my dog having had an MCT removed 6months ago. my initial enquiry was answered quickly and an a prompt appointment was made. My dog is anxious he was greeted and soon became relaxed. The information relayed about all possible treatments diet etc was extensive. Would highly recommend.

Reassurance that our cats will be well looked after with compassion, especially following one if them having to be put to sleep

I would just like to say a massive thank you to Pets Relaxed and Katja the vet. We unfortunately had to have our beloved dog put to sleep and we’ve been worried about this for a long time as he hated the car and the vets. The option to do this at home was the right thing for us, but still we were unsure as we didn’t know the vet. The team at Pets Relaxed made the booking process so straightforward and easy and were really compassionate. When the day came and Katja arrived she was absolutely lovely and our dog relaxed around her. We were able to say good bye in just the way we wanted to, as a family, at home and with him being nice and calm. While it was absolutely devastating, we couldn’t have wished for it to be any better for him and for us and we will be eternally grateful for that. Once again thank you so much for taking such good care of us all.

I don’t know we’re to start… I’m disabled and I couldn’t take Jamal to the Vet.
I googled to find someone to help me… until I came across with Pets Relaxed.
The Vet was so calm communicating with me about procedures and left me at ease.
Jamal behaved like a Gentleman!!!

Pets Relaxed are the best vets ever. My Luther used to get completely stressed out going to the vets. Now with Katja abd Thorsten’s home visits he is totally relaxed and at ease. They are both wonderful caring, friendly and reassuring. Very easy to talk to and willing to listen. Would not use any other vet

I can’t rate pets relaxed high enough. Such an amazing family business who have shown such great care for both my dogs. Home visits make life easier for me as I work from home mostly and the dogs are happy in their own environment.

Friendly and Easy to book appointments.
I was obtaining travel documents to go abroad with my two dogs. Plus one of my dogs need full boosters.
The vet (Thorsten) arrived who was friendly and efficient.
My dogs loved him. All went well until vet left and the one who had vaccinations had an allergic reaction (she does react to things). I rang the vets and he came straight back and was he was very reassuring after he treated her.
Thorsten gave me some advice on eyes and teeth which I have been following ever since. Consequently my dogs have not needed to go to vets again since.
We are nearing the time for Oceans injections fingers crossed it all goes well.

We asked Thorsten to give us advice regarding our 13 year old dog in February. He was very unwell and we had been advised that we needed to consider letting him go. Well we are now in August and our boy is now 14 years old, Thorstens care with dressing his wound, and his diligent care over a few weeks has resulted in Monty making a recovery to allow him to enjoy his walks again. Pets Relaxed is responsive and caring, giving you and your pet time to get the most from the consultation. Being seen at home reduces the stress for an older dog . I would highly recommend Pets relaxed for a personal bespoke approach to veterinary care.

Pets Relaxed have literally been a lifesaver for our elderly dog. Our dog has significant mobility issues as a result of a stroke she had 6 years ago - it is very difficult to get her in and out of a car. She is also absolutely terrified of going to the vets. Our regular vet doesn't do routine home visits so we were so relieved to find a vet that did.
Thorsten came to see our dog and she was completely at ease with him. The visit lasted about an hour and he was able to do a physical check, see how she walks, and discuss what may help her. He was able to see her in a normal state - if she had gone to a vet surgery she would have been shaking from head to toe and hyperventilating. Thorsten shares his observations with our regular vet - it's great that they can work together in the best interests of our dog.
Pets Relaxed offers an amazing service for dogs such as ours - she would not be as well as she is without them. Thorsten is absolutely brilliant with our dog - on his most recent visit she actually got up and went to the front door to greet him.
I would highly recommend Pets Relaxed. Our experience with them has been excellent - from the first telephone contact they have been so professional. If you have a pet that struggles going to a vet surgery they offer an ideal alternative.

We started to use Katya during lockdown when we sadly had to have our beloved cat put to sleep. She was very gentle, understanding and professional and we’ve since had her back to do annual vaccinations for our other 2 cats, one of which is very timid and gets stressed going to the vets. I would highly recommend Katya and their ‘at home’ pet care to anyone. Lucy

We moved to Pets Relaxed during covid lockdown, when we had to leave one of our cats who was in pain at the front door of the vets surgery whilst he was taken in by someone he didn't know and (predictably) wouldn't let the staff examine him.
All consultations are now in our home and the cats are extremely chill about this, even our feisty ex-feral rescue cat. It has taken out that awful step of getting the cats into their baskets and taking them on a road trip.
As the human belonging to the cats, I feel so much less traumatised myself knowing they are in good hands, in their own home / territory.
I would recommend Pets Relaxed to anyone.

Katja & Thorsten are wonderful vets. My Great Dane has always been wary of going to the vet but having them come to your home is completely a completely different experience and their wonderful manner puts everyone at ease. They are easy to get hold of, always return messages / calls very quickly and really care about your animals.
