My daughter has been playing JV since 8th grade, she was getting game time and her career was growing fast…on a recommendation from a coach who had players attend PGC and she herself attended the coach program… I have witnessed my daughter grow in her style, confidence and leadership. I highly recommend the week long camps for ALL levels of players who are serious about growing in many aspects of their game.

Staff was great. However they will need to change the venue for the NY location. Queens College had no air conditioning during the entire camp. It's not like there was an AC that broke down. The space itself has always had no air conditioning.
It was 85-90 degrees outside, gym was muggy. They had a couple of fans but ppl sat in front of it blocking the air. Imagine playing basketball,or doing a drill, then having to sit down and absorb a lesson writing in your notebook dripping sweat while taking notes. Not ideal. Every other camp I've seen, kids have a comfortable learning environment. Especially if you're expecting kids to really grasp the message being taught.

Again The staff was great. Not their fault , but if PGC continues to hold camps in Queens College, unfortunately my son will not be attending.

Our 11-year-old son had the best time at this camp… All the coaches were extremely supportive, positive, and inclusive of all abilities. He came home with a sense of teamwork, and knowledge in how important is to support other teammates.

My son completed his 3rd PGC camp. Every year, I am not only happy with the skills and ideas he has learned, but more importantly, the confidence he gains as a person. He is a shy middle schooler who has to get uncomfortable to attend any camp, and PGC has always been a safe and welcoming place for him. Thanks so much, PGC and staff!

Corrine has been attending for 3 years! She loves the hard work and challenges that PGC throw at her. Not only is she looking forward to attending camp again, she is hoping to be an instructor one day!

This is the best camp I have ever been to I would really recommend going

PGC Basketball camps deliver high quality instruction in how to think the game, and how to approach adversity on the court and in life by providing their athletes top level coaching from the moment your athlete arrives at camp! We have had our son attend all levels of their camps and even go back and repeat the playmaker course. The lessons are invaluable and we see our sons development after each camp.

My 15-year old son had an amazing experience at the PGC camp at North Central College. He not only learned more about and developed more advanced basketball skills, but more importantly, he also learned how to become a better leader and teammate.

From the minute we got there I felt like the PGC coaches valued my son and his goals. This made him feel very welcome. We traveled 7 hours to get to camp so he as sure he wouldn’t know anyone.that didn’t seem to matter after the first 20 min. Dakota was so good but all the coaches did a great job of hyping the kids up.

My daughter has learned so much in regards to the mind of basketball- how to think and read the court and respond. She’s also learning how to be a good teammate, putting others first and other great principles which will transfer to real life on top of great basketball skills. The best basketball camp out there!

Absolutely amazing experience for my daughter. She was a bit anxious at the beginning of the camp - we came from Europe & English is only her 3rd language - and she did not want to leave on the last day. If you're hesitating if it's worth the money, it is. We paid the trip from Europe to US, plus the hotel for me while we were here (my daughter did 2 PGC camps in a row) and it was worth every penny. Go for it, you won't regret it & your kid will love it.

The camp was really fun and the head coach Kyle he was super funny and had a lot of energy

Solid camp! Way more organized than the standard AAU or local camps. Great to see so many children and instructors exercising and demanding discipline. My son had a blast and learned a lot. Ive never seen him take so many notes and more importantly, its showing up on the court. Thanks for all you do PGC.

First time with PGC. I like the approach.
Basically looking forward at the end of camp to see the development.
Check me back in 2 or 3 weeks and I can give a 5 star based on our son's overall improvements.

My 12 year old daughter came back from PGC camp more confident in herself, with an improved ability to mentally handle challenges, difficulties, or frustration. She loved the on-court sessions, but stated that the classroom sessions were extremely impactful. She will definitely be returning to PGC in the near future!

This experience truly warmed my heart. My daughter had an amazing time, and it was uplifting to see her connect and make friends. As she navigates her journey with dyslexia and functioning autism, witnessing her engage with others felt like a significant milestone for both her and me. It meant so much to see her thrive in that environment. My daughter also learned new techniques to improve her basketball skills and develop her leadership abilities.

This is a unique camp that focuses on the fundamentals that make you a strong player. The proper mindset of what to do when you or your team has the ball on offense. Reinforces all the characteristics needed to be a positive person that is confident and committed.

Attending PGC even as an attending coach has been absolutely amazing! So many valuable things were taught in the classroom and then applied to the gym sessions. Progressional drills made understanding easy and you can see the impact it had as so many players experienced immediate success. The coaches were amazing and focused on connection building with the players. Whether you are a new coach or a veteran coach, I recommend this camp to anyone looking to improve their skills and be a better coach/player!
