Great service from Joe at PGR. Needed items for next day gave Joe a call and it was all ordered and paid for in a few minutes. A stress free helpful service.

We had the pleasure of receiving a delivery this morning from a young man who exemplified professionalism and courtesy at its finest. Despite the demanding nature of the task, involving the transport of heavy blocks and cement to our premises, he approached it with a smile that could brighten even the gloomiest of mornings.

His polite demeanour and lovely attitude were immediately evident and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for him.

In an industry where early morning deliveries can often be met with grumbles and groans, this young man defied expectations by radiating positivity throughout the entire process.

It's individuals like him who remind us that a positive attitude can make all the difference, turning what could have been a mundane task into a delightful experience.

I needed some supplies for my garden, and the guy in charge could not have been more helpful! He was very knowledgeable, and even had the supplies brought to my car. I asked his name, he said Jake ( l then found out his surname from another guy, who said it was Barker) so, thank you Jake Barker at the Chelmsford branch! I will definately be using your store again in the future!

Really pleased with the service orders some materials on Thursday to be delivered Saturday. Braintree store out of stock they sent them from Chelmsford really friendly staff and delivery driver. Many thanks. Will use again. By the way avoid wickes. I lived 1 mile outside the delivery area and they could not be bothered to help

I needed to order some timber for a client to do some urgent packing at our warehouse. This was organised quickly and easily over the phone. Same day delivery was possible, although we opted to send our own van, due to the tight timeline. Fast, easy and happy client! Will use again and highly recommend. Thanks to Ashley at Egham branch for his help!

Brentwood branch are a great bunch of guys, Joe Grahame and Arron in the office are all personable friendly and look after me when employees are ordering by being diligent with the reference passwords etc.
Never had anything appear that shouldn’t be on my account.
The yard staff are also always helpful friendly and graft hard to keep things moving.
Other branches I’ve visited on the other hand leave a lot to be desired. Maldon especially ( mostly yard issues)
Your bulshit 40% off hardie cladding and other marketing emails are annoying though and make you look silly.
You offer someone who spends between 5 k and 12 k a month with you 40% off deals that work out a pound a length cheaper than I can get from someone I never spent a penny with 😂
I just feel sorry for the guys in the shop that have to explain with red faces when questioned why it’s no where near 40 % off market value.
Good firm though overall. Good quality products quick turnaround and obviously good at recruiting the right staff to do you proud.
