Auctions to snake drafts, keepers to non keepers, college to pro. It is all here

The site is very user friendly with lots of good tool. Auction drafts (which I prefer). Snake drafts, draft-n-go leagues. They have just about every combination a fantasy football player could want. I go tired of another on line site due to poor updates and and poor customer service. I joined here last year and will be back every year.

Very Happy with 1 minor complaint and 1 hopefull improvement

Hello, I can tell this Co. takes great pride in it's product. I even appreciate this survey to help improve the product further. I first want to say how VERY satisfied I am playing here! This was my first time here this year and came from a place that started off great, but service crashed and now I believe belly up. Service goes a long way - And YOU deliver.

-Minor complaint: I don't like how free agents work after being dropped mid week. I've noticed people tend to pick up multiple people and dropping them, which then LOCKS the player out. I feel if somebody is dropped mid week or whatever, then it's FREE game. OR provide a 24hour lock with a timer. I just feel some how players that are dropped should be made available at some point, instead of waiting for the waiver/blind bid process. I feel it's a sham to lock players as a strategy and ruins the first come first serve process. Or maybe rated players (top 50) are locked this way, but not everybody.

Improvment - I want to play 1K league next year, but it seems like all the leagues are multiple flex. I'd like to see leagues with NO flex options. All the 1K leagues were 2 flex or higher I believe. Also, I think 12 team leagues should have 6 playoff teams and not 4. This FORCED me to join the 14 team league that I'm not crazy about after playing.

But overall, I can't be happier. I have lots of positive to say too!
Thank you!

Steve,

Thanks for the great feedback. If a player is added and dropped mid-week, you can email me to unlock them. Next year's new software will automatically leave them as a FA if they were added and dropped same week to prevent locking of players.

A lot of the big leagues use the 1-Flex option to get to 10 total starters instead of 9, and thus a little more skill in the leagues. That's the most popular, but I can certainly offer up a no-flex big money league.

Finally, there will be 12 team leagues with 6 playoff teams as an option next season as well.

Old School

Requires a little UX love but it's a solid site with good player info, tons of stats, reports and customization. Ownership/Management is 'hands on' and personally attentive for any escalations. I love this site.

Just a thought

No problems at all PFF. Just drafted a bad team. They should think about trying to get into the one week games like fan duel and draft kings.

Not the best first dynasty experience

The whole dynasty background is a great idea & experience. But this league/site have differences from other leagues that are negatives in my opinion. These negatives are:

1) The waivers don't occur until Wednesday at 10:00PM. They DO NOT occur on time. Leagues with automated waivers seem to be much better for people who actually pay attention to the waiver processes. Also, once a player is dropped, they can NOT be picked up until the following week. A normal league would have dropped players being able to be picked up the same week.

2) The uses victory points to decide league standings. A solid reason could not be made as to why using victory points vs. straight up record or total points (other than obviously it's the commish's preference). It's fantasy football, luck plays a part in the game. If you score high and lose, it's fantasy.

3) A ppr league that doesn't have a ppr for RB's along with TE's and WR's isn't really a full ppr league.

4) The Defenses lose points for yards against. Who cares how many yards a defense gives up if the offense doesn't score!

5) You have 4 IR spots but you can not use them unless your player is designated "IR". The player cannot be "out", like all other leagues. So if your player has 6 week injury, you do NOT get to use an IR spot.

SOME of this was stated prior to joining the league, but you don't know that subtle changes that make a big difference from the traditional fantasy football leagues until you start playing. Live and learn. Right now I'm glad you only had to pre-pay for two years.

Shawn,

Thanks for taking the time to provide your feedback. I'll address your concerns here.

1) The 3rd party site used to host the leagues did have some issues with processing waivers on time a couple of weeks, but for the most part, they do process on time each week. The reason dropped players are locked for a week is to give everyone a fair shot at bidding on them the following week.

2) Victory Points are a way to combine both straight up record and total points scored to make things more fair while still have the fun of a weekly matchup. There are leagues at Phenoms that don't use Victory Points if they aren't your preference.

3) Fantasy used to be so RB dominant that when I created this scoring system, RBs were given 0.5 PPR to balance things out. The NFL has changed with far more passing now and RB depth has decreased. Phenoms will be changing the scoring to a full PPR for RBs next year in new leagues that are created.

4) Defenses getting points for yards allowed helps make them more predictable and valuable compared to other scoring systems that are more heavy on turnovers on TDs.

5) I will consider changes to the IR rules and solicit further feedback as to what player status should be to be placed on IR.

I will say that all of this is clear in the rules of the league. You can sell your dynasty team in the offseason and get some or all of your money back that you pre-paid. I'm sorry the experience hasn't been what you expected.

As a beginner I've found PhenomsFF to be excellent

I'm an Australian in my first year doing Fantasy Football and PhenomsFF were recommended to me by my cousin. They've great so far. The leagues are easy to understand with lots of options and you can request certain versions to suit your preferences. I've in a draft and auction league, both of which are run professionally and efficiently. A mistake was made by one of the players in the auction (he bid $150 rather than $15 for a player), and this was immediately rectified. The experience with PhenomsFF has been so good that I'm already planning on being in at least 4 leagues with them next year.

Exciting to Play

First year playing FF, I'm a long time EX football gambler because I have two kids to feed now. I did a seach and found this site signed up for four FF teams and its makes football exciting to watch and saves me a ton of cash. Even if I don't win this year I will play next year with this site.

Football website improvement

I really like all the league format options offered but I do not like the football site functionality. I like fantrax for baseball and would prefer that website is used for football.

25 th year playing fantasy.

We used the Monday newspaper to determine the outcomes at the beginning and truth be told I kinda miss that experience of pen in hand adding up the scores BUT this is much better. More presice less hassle and a confidence of scoring accuracy win or lose. Played on NFL .com and won a league and didn't get paid. Play on an ESPN league with 11 friends and we have a blast pluss 100% payout. My favorite. Joined Phenoms two years ago and was impressed with the site. Liked the fact that when I was confused I could e mail Mike and he would show me the the path. Lost badly the first year at no fault of the site then I joined the playoff league. Threw in 50 more bucks and took 3rd place for a payout of two grand. Happy days. More than one way to win at fantasy football. Had the check within a week. No hassle. Joined a dynasty league and a keeper league this year for the first time and of course my one year league which has been my staple. All in all a great league because of avalibilty to the commissioner and the positive ethics that have been demonstrated. However the downside is of course the percentage of profit from entry fees is high. I struggle with the waiver wire at times but that could be possibly more me than the site.

Professional

I had signed up and paid for an auction league this season, which unfortunately did not fill up by time/date which it was scheduled to draft on. So I switched to a slow draft league and PhenomsFF.com made the transition of leagues an easy and smooth one. This is a very professional operation, and while I probably will not play another slow draft again, I will not hesitate to join some of the other formats offered by PhenomsFF.com in the future. Highly recommend.

Grea setup! Happy customer.

So far I am very happy with phenoms Fantasy football. I have yet to attempt to get payouts as the season is on going but everything has gone smooth so far so I am sure that it will continue. The commissioner is quick to respond to emails and is very involved in the site. Thank you phenoms for replacing a negative experience with different website and reinvigorating my love for fantasy football.

Phenoms is great, myfantasyleague.com is horrible. I mean, lousy.

I really like Phenoms. I like the ability to play against more serious players than your average espn or yahoo league. The commish is great. It's all good with one exception. Myfantasyleague.com, which he uses to host the leagues, is terrible. They have an awful app that they charge you for. Their regular non mobile interface is almost as useless. Try looking up a free agent or looking for guys who are available by their average points per game. I mean really, it's hard to enjoy the league because the interface is so outdated. So, there you have it. I would likely do several leagues next year if it isn't on my fantasy league or if my fantasy league gets an actual programmer.
