We have just purchased a bungalow from Philip Bannister Estate Agents, which is shared ownership, they are a little more complex, but this firm and especially Sue McAuley the Branch Manager and Valuer, were absolutely superb, she helped us throughout, liaising with the seller and the solicitors ensuring the sale went through as quickly as possible and assisting us to deal with all the bumps in the process, Sue has a conspicuous set of skills and provides the best customer service in all spheres, as do the rest of the staff. The staff are a credit to the firm and thus we highly recommend this firm.

All staff are friendly, and helpful.. they sold our house in just few days.

We used Philip Bannister to sell my mum’s house who had recently passed away. They advised on probate procedures and recommended an excellent solicitor to handle that side of things.
Philip initially came to the property, measured all the rooms and advised on the best method to achieve the best price possible.
We mainly dealt with Charlotte at the Elloughton branch. She kept us constantly updated on viewings and customer feedback. When the offers came in, she professionally assessed each one and advised perfectly which were best placed to complete without complications.
All the staff were very understanding and we were very impressed by their professionalism and knowledge of the market.
The whole process was smooth and hassle free and I wouldn’t hesitate to use again.

Excellent service! The team were brilliant especially Charlotte, who has been fantastic to deal with. She got a great price for the home I was selling and also helped us to find our perfect new home. The process was straight forward and Charlotte kept in regular contact to give us updates and explain any jargon I didn't understand. We sold 2 properties with Philip Bannisters this year which was a big challenge for us to relocate our whole family unit to a new area, especially with recent events…
Matthew, Charlotte and Ian provided us with this service, and the only word to use to describe this service is flawless.
First rate communications, efficiency and honesty, what more can you ask for when dealing with what is normally a stressful task.
They were employed as my previous agents (a firm local to Bannisters) were not even checking the mortgage / purchase status of the ‘visitors’ they were sending to my home during the peak months of the pandemic. I had timewasters visiting from day 1, they were promptly dropped.
I then moved to Bannisters where Matthew came to our homes, he was efficient and honest.
Charlotte did an excellent job and ensured the status of every potential buyer, on the back of which the houses also sold promptly!
Ian was truly outstanding when it came to pursuing solicitors…
Collaboratively as a team they managed the sales in such a way that I was able to focus on more important tasks.
I simply cannot recommend these guys enough.

Just can't thank Alex,Sue,Zoe and the lovely team at Bannister's in hessle enough. We have received the most professional and caring service at all times during a long drawn out process. They kept us informed all the way and we knew they were always there for us when we needed support. Alex was always positive and so friendly. A big shout out to Charlotte, Jennie and the rest of the team at Bannister. They have been a tremendous help from start to finish, keeping us update constantly throughout the sale and purchase of our new family home. Despite problems early on regarding solicitor firms they constantly pursued and gave us feedback on a regular basis and kept us up to date with any communications between agents and solicitors.

Outstanding service from the team at Philip Bannister & Co! This is not the first time we have used them and won’t be the last. Wouldn’t want to use any other estate agents. Full team always go above and beyond for their customers.

Due to my elderly Aunt having to move into a residential home we had to sell her home. Bannisters seemed to have sold signs all around the area so we chose them to sell the property. Bannisters dealt with all the viewings and kept us informed of all feedback very quickly. Unfortunately the first sale fell through but Jennie kept us in the loop at every turn and the property sold again very quickly. This time everything went smoothly. Jennie has liaised with the buyers and solicitors and kept it all hassle free for us. Thank you to Bannisters and especially Jennie for making this difficult time easier to deal with.

Amazing service from start to finish with Bannisters, Alex was always very response and professional and often went the extra mile to make sure I was happy with the service.

5/5 - would use Bannister’s for all things houses in the future!

During Covid times everything was made more complicated... however, this was not the case with Bannisters. Ian was so helpful at every stage of my purchase, keeping me well informed via email and phone. Ian made the whole experience run smoothly with his fabulous communication and professional manner. I can't thank Ian and the team enough.

Bannisters recently sold a property on our behalf following a family bereavement. We chose them because they had recently sold a number of similar properties in the same area and we've been extremely pleased with them.
