This worst online shopping experience

This was the worst online shopping experience I’ve ever had. I placed my order on December 1, and the first package arrived with a broken bottle—clear evidence of careless packaging and a complete lack of quality control.

The replacement didn’t arrive until December 22, nearly a full month later. What’s even more unacceptable is how customer service handled the situation. They refused to take responsibility for either the damage or the delay and instead attempted to shift the blame onto a third-party delivery company. That is not my responsibility. I paid PHLUR, not the courier. Any shipping or delivery issues fall squarely on the company that sold and shipped the product—no excuses.

For a brand that markets itself as “premium,” this level of service is embarrassing. Slow resolution, zero accountability, and a clear disregard for customers. PHLUR does not stand behind its products or its service.

I was forced to select one star only because Trustpilot does not allow submissions without a rating—please disregard it. This company does not deserve any rating at all.

I will never buy from PHLUR again and strongly warn others to avoid ordering from them.

I tried one of their newest scents, cashmere vanilla. It smells absolutely horrible, it reminds me of an old grandmother wearing too many kinds of perfume at once with a bit of nursing home smell attached to it. Nothing like how they described. I wanted to exchange or return -they charge seven dollars to do that for a $25 product.

Weak cheap perfume and nasty customer service.

Cheap perfume. Poor customer service. They remind me of Kayali in that they both must be out of Canada. I will make sure that I buy nothing fe them either, just like another company from their called Kayali. Phlur is even cheaper smelling and no quality and a waste of money. It’s NICE to know who you are dealing with so you can avoid at all costs.

Bland perfume and bad bad customer service

Their fragrances are bland maybe minus one. The products last 15 minutes on the body. Their vanilla has no vanilla smell and their products are way overhyped and their customer service is even worse than their products longevity. It doesn’t exist. They are very rude and disrespectful.

Scents fade quickly and must constantly reapply.

Cheap quality scents that last only 30 minutes on the skin. Every scent Phlur offers has reviews stating that the scent is gone quickly right after application and you must respray yourself over and over to get the scent back. Same reviews for their scented deodorants. Total rip-off.

Scam

Ordered Aug 3. Kept checking tracking. On Aug 19 I reached out and asked when i could expext my package as all tracking showed is "in transit to next facility" repeatedly changing facilities every day. Very sus. I was told "hold on honey its on the way". Asked for refund about six times since, have received no response since Aug 19. Says delivered today Aug 27 but nope nothing here. Made a fraud claim with my bank.

I ordered the duo scent on the 1st…

I ordered the duo scent on the 1st August and on the 17th emailed them asking for updates on order . No reply . I then messaged again on the 21st again no reply . This morning I have been informed that my parcel was delivered to my address yesterday 25th . I haven’t received anything . They do not answer any emails . Don’t order from these people as they just ignore you. I will now have to dispute the payment with my bank.

I ordered the vanilla duo sampler

I ordered the vanilla duo sampler, and received a single bottle of an item that I did not order, that also had a different company name—Roxelis. The package shows it was manufactured in China, and it smells HORRIBLE!. Contacted customer service with order number 11491M172157, photos of the product, the mailer it came in, and even the box. Finally got a response after my second email. The runaround started with their first reply. They wanted the number off the inside mailer. There wasn’t one! Then they wanted smaller photo files. Then I got no reply at all. Definitely a scam.

Should be called Mssing Scent

I purchased Phlur’s Missing Person Eau de Parfum after enjoying the oil — The oil soft, subtle, and lovely, but far too faint. I expected the EDP to offer more presence and longevity, especially given the price point.

Unfortunately, the perfume was so weak it was almost non-existent. I sprayed it multiple times and still couldn’t smell it — and neither could my husband. There was no projection or lasting power at all.

For an “Eau de Parfum,” this performed more like a barely-there mist. Really disappointed. A lovely concept but let down by the complete lack of presence. Would not repurchase

VERY Disappointed in PHLUR

THE PITIFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE PERSON COULD NOT RESOLVE MY ISSUE. Didn’t even try!

1. They increased the price after i had it in my cart and i am a member, which they had the audacity to charge me $50.00 for. I did NOT GET MY DISCOUNT CREDITED FOR THE VANILLA SMOKE (new item) which is disgusting.
I was entitled to a free sample with my latest order and in addition, i did not get the free sample which i was entitled to for MY last ORDER of the nauseating VANILLA SMOKE…UGH TOTALLY AWFUL.

2). I requested to cancel the latest order because i didn’t get the refund OR my FREE SAMPLE, TWICE!

It’s too bad because i loved the vanilla skin scent.
Most Companies forewarn customers when the prices are about to increase, but NOT PHLUR!

3). They clearly do not value OR care about their customers, that is crystal clear

4). They don’t have the decency to even sign their name when corresponding, so you don’t even know who you even communicated with.

5). They still owe he the free sample of vanilla skin from both orders.

6). The customer service person needs some educational guidance and training…
Good luck with that.

Very sad indeed!

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service, purchased their missing person perfume and it smells so bad, it's incredibly cheap smelling. I tried to return it but apparently they don't accept returns ok fine lesson learned. This product is so bad I can't even give it away, I work with 30+ woman and they all hate it as well. Into the trash it goes.

I ordered the sampler to try out some new smells. I received it and it looked so nice. .. But more then half of the spray bottles dont spray, and you cant unscrew them to try them that way. I asked to have a refund or return the products since im unable to try them, but the state they arent able to offer refunds or exchanges on sample sets,travel size products, body care, or products bought with a coupon code.....

Disappointing as some of the few I was able to smell I might have purchased, ...but if they are not willing to stand behind their product or offer some resolution I wont. I will stick with my usual which costs about half of their price....

Better customer service than some LUXURY brands.

I purchased Missing Person, and when i got home after it was delivered (about 3 hours); my package wasn’t there!! This doesn’t happen in my neighborhood… but I went and double checked with my neighbors because 2 packages were missing!
I finally contacted Phlur and the other company (Diptyque) and explained the situation.
Phlur was on top of it and quickly sent me a replacement!
I’m still dealing with the other company….
So happy that they took care of their customer with quick and efficient service!
I will definitely recommend them more in the future for this reason alone.
I do love the scent too!!! Thank you so much!!!

I'm incredibly saddened that Phlur was…

I'm incredibly saddened that Phlur was purchased. It's nothing like how it was previously. I ADORED their marketing, scents and incredible sales. There set up was very similar to one of my favorite French perfumeries were they took the time to really explain the ingredients, the inspiration and the perfumers behind each scent. It wasn't just a product but an experience purchasing from Phlur. Now they've taken away some of the best scents and they don't seem to have individual perfumers as they did previously. Who knows if the original scents they have retained are going to be held to the same quality with the new owners. Phlur has been cheapened with cheesy teen-looking (and smelling) scents that just seems run-of-the-mill and overpriced for what they're offering. The Memorial "sale" is a joke. Free shipping? Wow, what a steal. In the past, they offered 50% off full-size items.
What used to be my favorite perfume company is now a massive disappointment all around.

0 stars if possible. I ordered their Missing Person travel size perfume. Smelled like an old lady, not a problem. I read their return policy which said they do not offer refunds for sample sets, full-sized perfume, or body care.

I emailed them because their return policy said to for returns. They said they could not provide me with a return label because they don't offer refunds on sample sets, full-sized fragrances, or body care. I told them I understood that, but my fragrance was not part of a sample set nor was it a full-sized perfume. They emailed me back saying they would make an exception for me and that per their return policy, they would not cover the cost of returning.

I checked their return policy once more, and they updated their return policy to say they would not accept returns for travel-sized fragrances! Nowhere in the policy did it state that they would not cover the cost of returns when I initially emailed them, but they added that little blurb after they emailed me back.

Very sketchy and untrustworthy company. 10/10 would not recommend. They're probably going to continue changing their policies after every time someone emails them with an issue so it's not worth the trouble. Will be selling the perfume that I purchased at face value instead of returning to this company.
