I can’t recommend Phoenix Motorcycle Training in Canterbury highly enough! From start to finish, the whole team were friendly, professional, and incredibly supportive throughout my Direct Access course.

A huge thank you to Ashley, whose patience, knowledge, and encouragement made a real difference. His coaching was clear, calm, and gave me the confidence I needed to pass and gain my full unrestricted motorcycle licence.

Everyone at Phoenix genuinely wants you to succeed, and they create a relaxed, enjoyable learning environment while maintaining the highest standards of training and safety. If you’re thinking about getting your motorcycle licence, this is definitely the place to do it.

I previously had lessons and test from another motorcycle training company. I switched to Phoenix in Canterbury and found the whole experience far superior to what I had previously. I felt far more comfortable with the training and I was given far more advice and tips than I had previously. Very professional through the booking process to training day. You are well informed about the CBT and the instructor goes through all modules very carefully and explanatory.

A MASSIVE thank you to Ash!! I’m an older female rider, and lacked complete confidence and skill. It took me quite a few lessons before I was ready for my CBT. Ash was kind, patient and understanding, trying lots of different ways of learning that suited me. I’m still a little nervous, but I can ride, and ride safety. Something I think I would have given up on if it wasn’t for Ash, and thank god I didn’t!!! I’ve found a new love in life.
Will definitely be returning to get my big bike licence 🏍️ ❤️

Instructor was brilliant. I had never ridden a bike before my CBT, and during my day I was fully able to ride a bike, through effective training. Ashley, the instructor, cared about putting people on the road only if they are definitely safe to be on the road. I didn't pass my CBT, as I was not ready to be on the road yet, but I booked for 2 hours a few days later, and I passed in 40 minutes. Ash cared about my life, only passing me when he could see that I am confident enough to be on the road by myself.

I completed my CBT yesterday under the excellent guidance and care of Ashley (advanced instructor). The whole day was excellent. it was made fun, informative, engaging and above all safe. Safety and the reasons why were continually applied throughout the whole day. This all came together with a 2 hour road ride. This was brilliant. An hour riding through urban and city roads reinforcing cornering, roundabouts, coping safely in heavy traffic, applying everything we had learned earlier in the day. The second hour of rural riding through beautiful countryside and small villages both allowed for the joy of riding a motorbike and that feeling of freedom while maintaining the need to be continually aware and always "eyes up". I feel with Ashley's and the super set up at Phoenix they will help me achive my goal to not only obtain a full bike license but also become a safe and accomplished motorcyclist as I progress through the training courses. Go nowhere else if you're serious about wanting to be both a competent and safe biker. It is worth every penny. I'm booking my next course today!

Ashley was so friendly and the lesson he delivered was excellent, which helped me alot during my test. I highly recommend this place for anyone who is planning to book their CBT.

Great experience my trainer Ashley gave me so much confidence and was very understanding also made me comfortable so I wasn’t to nervous which helped me pass my cbt now looking at doing my full licence thank you 🙂
