I look after my wife who is bed-bound. Over the past 18 months Phoenix have provided three care visits per week. They have also arranged twice daily visits when I wanted to go away for a week. The carers have always been reliable, friendly and done a good job, reducing the burden on me.

We have now enjoyed around five years of Phoenix Care, and I do mean 'enjoyed', for we have made some very caring friends in that period. They are becoming part of our family, being so helpful and caring for my wife. Rosters are always filled eventually and I can think of only one occasion in those five years when we haven't had a carer. Tom and his crew do a great job in running this operation efficiently and in a very friendly manner. We have never regretted choosimg Phoenix and have encountered many really lovely people along the way.

Phoenix have looked after my mother for the last 3 years and the standard of care they provide has been excellent. On the whole the carers have been highly impressive- competent, sympathetic, full of good advice and genuinely lovely people to be around - and the management is supremely hands on and responsive. As a family we feel very supported and well looked after. I would have no hesitation in recommending this very competent company to families requiring care.

All office staff and managers so nice really do look after there staff...we're all a good team and organised ..what I really like about it is we see our clients all the time so it's nice for them aswell ..

I’ve worked for Phoenix for two years now and I was worried to originally take the jump back into this kind of care work compared to what I was previously doing. But I can honestly say I’m so glad I did. It’s lovely to work for a company that not only has clients health and well-being at the forefront of everything they do but also the staffs too. My personal experience is that Phoenix is very accommodating for anything you require from training right up to the support they give you as an employee. We are highly valued by them and I’ve never felt like I’m just a carer or made to feel like I’m replaceable like I have done previously with other companies I’ve worked for.Whenever anyone asks I tell them how much I adore my job and the people I work alongside and care for.

I enjoy working with Phoenix because I feel we -- everyone on the teams -- are partners and the teamwork is truly collaborative. It has certainly fostered my sense of vocation; it's incredibly important to feel that you're listened to, and I also know that I have learnt an awful lot from others (not least clients). I have met some wonderful clients and it has been fantastic to know that we have made such a difference to a person's wellbeing, health and happiness. And, as I said, I have learnt so much from them.

I am proud to work for Phoenix Care South West. The management and senior staff are very supportive. We are paid fairly and rewarded through incentive programmes. Phoenix provide great training opportunities and regular supervisions.
As a Personal Assistant, one of the best things is that I can choose the type of clients I would like to support, around hours that suit me.
My colleagues are hard-working and professional, with a wide range of experience and skills. We complement each other and are often commended by our clients for the support we give them.

I like to work for Phoenix because all people there are friendly and responsible. Tom Greenwood is very caring and helpful to everyone in the company and to our clients as well. 🙂

I would highly recomend working for Phoenix.They take on a wide range of clients which gives you the opportunity to specialise in one area of interest if you wish, or enjoy the diversity of several clients with different needs.

Phoenix care have been the care providers for my father for the last two and a half years. We had a lovely, caring, professional team that went above and beyond to look after my dad and also to help my brother and I with his care. The whole team were caring, attentive and really understanding of his care needs. Pheonix care as a care provider were so supportive to us as a family navigating us through some very difficult times, losing our mother and the very painful decision to get dad into full time care. They did their utmost to support us. I can’t thank them enough for all their support and understanding.

From the moment I first spoke to the office to enquire about care for my elderly father, the help and kindness was forthcoming from everyone I dealt with. The carers that subsequently looked after my father could not have been kinder and looked after him so well, remaining professional at all times. I will always be grateful that Carine may well have saved my fathers life as he had a stroke and she stayed with him until the paramedics arrived. She was a star.
It was a pleasure to deal with Phoenix Care.

Tom was really friendly and helpful. I’m grateful that he was able to provide support at very short notice. He managed to arrange an assessment within a couple of days and Kate was lovely. Dad was really happy with the support provided and we had peace of mind for the days when we were unable to visit. Thanks to Tom and all the Phoenix team.

This is a great at home care service that has gone above and beyond to step in and assist my dad who has dementia because my mum wasn’t able to manage everything any more
