Warning: Phonely sells faulty iphone, refuses service
Warning - poor service after iphone sold with faulty motherboard. Phonely (Simply Trading Company) sold me a faulty refurbished iphone 7 (369 euros). I discovered this when having the screen replaced by a professional at another company after it was cracked during use (understandably not covered under Phonely warranty). During the repair it turned out the motherboard had been fixed multiple times before being sold to me by Phonely, which claimed "as good as new" condition. It was in fact beyond repair. I sent the phone back to Phonely and they declined to help in any way. They refused to honor the warranty because I had "not sought permission" from them before having the screen replaced. I had the phone examined and a technician said it was so unreliable he didn't even want to try to repair it. "I am sorry, you were sold a lemon," he said. Phonely, shame on you for such poor service!

Waarschuwing - slechte service na iPhone verkocht met defect moederbord. Phonely (Simply Trading Company) heeft me een defecte refurbished iPhone 7 (369 euro) verkocht. Ik ontdekte dit toen ik het scherm liet vervangen door een erkende reseller nadat het tijdens gebruik was gekraakt (begrijpelijkerwijs niet gedekt door Phonely-garantie). Tijdens de reparatie bleek het moederbord meerdere keren te zijn gerepareerd voordat het "zo goed als nieuw" aan mij werd verkocht. Het was onherstelbaar. Ik stuurde de telefoon terug naar Phonely en zij weigerden op enigerlei wijze te helpen. Ze weigerden de garantie te honoreren omdat ik "geen toestemming had gevraagd" voordat ik het scherm liet vervangen door een derde partij. Ik liet de telefoon onderzoeken en een technicus zei dat het zo onbetrouwbaar was dat hij het niet eens wilde proberen te repareren. "Het spijt me, ze hebben je een rottelefoon verkocht," zei hij. Phonely, schaam je voor zo'n slechte service!
