Photo Studio Berlin for film development, film scanning, workshops, and analog photography services. Discover Berlin Photo Studio in Wedding. Berlin Photo Studio is more than just a lab—it’s a place where photography slows down again. If digital photography feels like fast food, this is the opposite: a slow, intentional process where every image has time to breathe. Located in the heart of Wedding, Berlin, the studio brings together photographers, beginners, and curious minds who want to reconnect with the essence of image-making and experience photography in a more meaningful way.
At Berlin Photo Studio, film development is treated with care and respect. We offer black and white development, C41 color processing, ECN-2 cinematic film, and E6 slide film. Each roll is handled with a human-first approach rather than relying on automated systems, because we understand that every film contains something personal—memories, experiments, or creative visions. The goal is not just to develop film, but to preserve the intention behind every shot.
Once the film is developed, we provide high-quality film scanning for 35mm, 120, and large format. Scans are delivered in high resolution, up to 8000px on the long side, in both JPEG and TIFF formats at the same price. Whether you bring full rolls, strips, or single frames, the process is flexible and designed to give you files that are ready for printing, sharing, or archiving, while maintaining the true character of the film without flattening its texture or tones.
Berlin Photo Studio is also a space for learning and growth. Workshops are designed to be practical, accessible, and experience-driven rather than theoretical. From film photography basics to black and white development at home, from darkroom printing to editing scanned negatives, each workshop is built to help people understand photography as a language they can use. Creative experiences like Wine & Darkroom, photowalks, and experimental sessions make the process social and engaging, turning learning into something alive and memorable.
Beyond services, the studio is built around community. It’s a place where people meet, share ideas, and grow together. Through weekly meetups, open studio days, exhibitions, zines, and collaborative projects, Berlin Photo Studio creates an environment where photographers don’t just come to drop off film, but to connect with others who share the same passion. The goal is to build a space that feels familiar, where returning becomes part of a habit, like a ritual.
What makes Berlin Photo Studio different from traditional labs is the approach. Instead of optimizing for speed and automation, the focus is on meaning, craftsmanship, and creative control. There are no generic color profiles or industrial workflows—only a careful process that respects the material and the photographer behind it. This approach allows each image to retain its identity, embracing the imperfections and uniqueness that make analog photography special.
Located at Nazarethkirchstraße 41 in Berlin-Wedding, the studio reflects the neighborhood itself: raw, diverse, and real. It’s a space where different stories and perspectives come together, just like on film. Berlin Photo Studio exists for those who want more than just images—for those who want to experience photography, understand it, and be part of something that goes beyond the final result.

I love them — they’ve been incredibly helpful, coaching me and always offering valuable suggestions to improve my photography, take more photos, and enjoy the process. It’s more than just a shop; they’ve built a true community that feels like family. Everyone here is genuinely passionate about analog photography, and you can really feel that energy
I live in Vicenza, Italy. I met Emiliano and his entire fantastic staff through Enzo, a friend from Naples. Since we started working together, I've bought film and photographic equipment exclusively from them. They also develop and scan the rolls I shoot. Their professionalism and precision are unmatched in all my years of photography. Furthermore, a wonderful friendship is developing—for now, only remotely. Just one phone call and it's like being in the store. I won't say anything else. 5 absolute stars.
Amazing place for analog photography - I always get my reels developed there and love it. Great consultation, familiar atmosphere: beat place to come if you are into (or getting into) photography :)
Emiliano and the whole team are really lovely people and extremely helpful with any questions you have! I trust them completely with all of my camera issues and analog desires! Highly recommend.
With no doubt the best photo studio in Berlin! Super fast, nice quality and the best: super nice people! Always get the best help, they take their time to explain me everything and even help me out with some ideas I have for taking photos - I'm not a professional (far from it), and I get it explained all the time super easy to understand! My fav! Won't go anywhere else anymore. :)
(Also: prices are suuuuupeeeer fair (would use "cheap" here, but the quality is everything else than "cheap", so it doesn't fit hehe)! Especially with the amazing outcome of their self-produced films!)
The staffs are super friendly and helpful, I have had many rolls processed and scanned here. Turnaround time is also fast, fair prices and great communications
I went there for reparing my old Kodak and they gave me an amazing support. They fixed it on time and they give me a discount also for Develop & Scan service. Great team, great experience
I had the chance to spend time at PhotoStudioBerlin and it was an incredible experience.
This is the place where I truly learned the full process of analog film development, step by step. The level of care, knowledge, and passion they put into their work is something you rarely see.
What impressed me the most was their creative approach to analog photography and their initiative to recycle film canisters and materials. It’s not just a lab — it’s a place where experimentation, sustainability, and community come together.
The energy of the space, the ideas they bring to life, and the projects they create around analog photography are simply inspiring.
Honestly, it might be one of the best analog photography labs out there. If you love film, this place is special.
Ciao Emiliano!
