PICCANTINO, a great find
I've always lived in various countries around the world, where I could everywhere easily find my favorite drink, the Chai Latte. I've enjoied it from UK to USA, from India, where this tea originated with the name of Masala Chai, to Northern China and Mongolia, where it has been brewed for millennia, including a salty version called Süütei tsai. Actually, those nomadic populations have large quantity of milk from their flocks and herds. Moreover, among such Asian communities, milk is considered sacred, so Chai's preparation takes on a ritual and spiritual dimension.
When I arrived in Italy, I realised that Chai Latte was nowhere to be found, plus, no one had even heard of it. So, I started exploring the web to see if it was possible to find it online. And that's how I found PICCANTINO. It was a pleasant surprise to see that they offer various kinds of Chai Latte, with different flavouring, even one for vegans by substituting milk with oat flour. In addition, they also offer Matcha Latte, another delicious drink, made with the famous Japanese powdered tea.
Finally, by browsing their entire shop site, I saw they sell a wide range of products, including a huge selection of spices, another of my favorite purchases, as I love spicy cuisine, especially the very hot one.
