I had a problem with one of my orders…

I had a problem with one of my orders where an item was not included, an honest mistake as this was a special package and the previous one did not include this item.
The problem was resolved very quickly and the item was posted to me at no cost.
Very happy with the outcome.
Highly recommend this company.

Fantastic customer support!

I've ordered a few times with PickPals, and the product and quality is great.
On my latest order there was a bit of shipping delay when (unforunate timing with their inventory) but upon contacting support, I got same day responses, as well as some store credit for the inconvenience and overnight shipping as soon as they restocked.
A mistake was also made with my order - missed an item - but again with their great customer support, they followed up on it and shipped the missing item overnight!
Great service from the business, keep it up!

Amazing products and customer service.

Long time and future customer of pickpals!

I have always had a great experience when dealing with pickpals the many times I have over the years. Shipping is always fast and on par with any companies shipping times across state. The few times I reached out to the team with questions on orders the response was quick and the issues quickly dealt with. After receiving the item

After receiving the item, I immediately realised that I had purchased the wrong product and contacted customer service without delay.

they refused to provide a refund, repeatedly hiding behind your internal “policy”, despite the following clear facts:

• The item has never been used
• It is brand new
• All parts, accessories, and original packaging are complete and intact

This was a genuine purchasing mistake, communicated to you promptly. At no point did you make any effort to assess the situation reasonably or offer a fair solution.

Under Australian Consumer Law (ACL), businesses are required to act fairly and not rely on internal policies to override consumer rights. Using rigid policies as an excuse to force customers to keep unused, brand-new items is unreasonable and contrary to fair trading principles.

they refusal is not customer service — it is deliberate obstruction.

If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will have no choice but to escalate it through:
• PayPal / credit card chargeback
• Consumer Affairs / Fair Trading
• Public review and formal complaint channels

I expect a reasonable resolution without further delay.

Buyers Beware

Upon receiving my order I realised it wasn’t fit for the purpose I intended to use it for, I then sent a email kindly asking for a return address and was happy to pay to ship. They asked for the reasoning and first tried to get around it by saying they don’t do change of my mind. I explained it wasn’t and the reasoning etc, was then ignored on a follow up and given “website issues” as the excuse which I was understandable of at first until my next email got no reply at all. They were avoiding that refund. Money lost but lesson learnt, they will not have my business in future. I’d say buyer beware for the simple fact you have no margin for error even when you are in the right they will find a way for you to be left with that product whether you like it or not.

Great experience

Bought some picks from PickPals few months back and i've used the picks quite often, the quality of picks are really good, shipping time was quite fast (living in Europe picks came in less than 2 weeks). Overall a great company to work with and buy from them.

6 weeks and still waiting

Ordered the beginner lock pick set. 6 weeks later it still hasn’t arrived and Australia Post have deemed the item lost in transit and have advised they have reimbursed pickpals for the value of the item.

Pickpals are refusing to refund me and are blaming COVID saying my parcel will turn up late because of it. Have had to open a PayPal dispute to try and get a refund.

A pleasant surprise!

TL;DR VERY PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS WITH MANY PERKS TO BEING A CUSTOMER.

This was my first time buying with PickPals. Being in the UK, I obviously had concerns about shipping time and customs charges, but the company was remarkably professional and efficient, posting the items the very next working day and having it delivered to me relatively fast considering the pandemic currently crippling the postal service. It still took a while, obviously, but considering the situation and the location, I was very impressed! Shipping was fully tracked, and customer service was speedy and helpful over even the smallest query I sent their way.

The site itself is easy to navigate and good value. They offer relatively low price shipping to most countries and they often offer discounts so it's well worth keeping an eye on the store. For example, I purchased a Sparrows Revolver as I had noticed it was currently 15% off Sparrows gear for that week. They have a good selection of brands, from Sparrows and Peterson and SouthOrd to their own picks which, while I haven't used, look to be reasonably priced and well made. Likely a good site to use even for beginners, as their products often have links to reviews from well-respected locksport professionals such as BosnianBill.

It is still Australian, so if you are anywhere outside of there, expect shipping to be inexpensive but slower than your standard shipping. That being said, it was no slower for me to purchase from Australia than the few times I had shipping from the US and Canada. I suppose it depends on your location and what is available to you.

They are great!

As a beginner lock picker, I was a bit unsure about what to buy and what would suit me. There is a beginner lock picking set that is absolutely perfect and has helped me gain confidence and build up my skills. The staff are really kind and helpful and I would recommend this company to everyone.

The Go-To Guys for Locksport in Australasia

My first trade with Pickpals was in mid-2015, and since then I have made multiple more purchases through them. They are not only professionals in providing a quality, hassle free trading experience, but are absolute experts in their field of sale - and their careful selection of stock, excellent after-sales support and support of the locksport community makes this very apparent. I never hesitate to recommend them. Express shipping to NZ would make things even better!

Excellent Service, Fast Shipping, Friendly Staff

I wasn't sure what to get so I emailed pickpals and asked, within a few hours I had a reply with some recommendations and options as well as answers to all my questions. After I purchased my pickset it was promptly shipped and arrived quite quickly (due to it only being interstate shipping I assume) in perfect condition.
