This is a great product
This is a great product! If you look after it, it can last up to 3 weeks. It’s been fantastic at helping my puppy to potty train. He is now fully potty trained at 3 1/2 months. We use the paddle patch on the balcony for those late nights and early morning emergency stops :-)

Nothing but positive feedback, the patch itself is excellent, we live in a 4th floor flat and it meant we never had to use puppy pads or had any accidents in the flat, our puppy would always go and use the piddle patch. The quality of the patch was great and every delivery came on time. The website was super easy to use and you can change your subscription frequency easily. A two week subscription was just right when our puppy was young and using it often. We were able to extend it to 3/4 weeks when our puppy got older.

Piddle Patch has been a life saver for training our puppy until he is fully vaccinated as he was refusing to go on our outside paved area.

Easy peasy housetraining
We put the piddle patch in the playpen as soon as the puppy (a singleton) could walk and he caught on immediately. As soon as we moved it into the garden, he was perfectly housetrained. So simple. I would recommend wholeheartedly.

Great product and great, flexible subscription service
The actual grass is really high quality, and the way it’s grown means there’s no muddy footprints in the apartment!
It’s very easy to update your subscription, which has been a godsend when having a poorly pup who couldn’t go out on walks.
I’ve used piddlepatch for quite a while now and couldn’t recommend it more.

Terrible value for money, poor product
The product seemed great but it quickly turned into a nightmare when we had a patch totally drenched in dog wee and then we had to somehow get it off our balcony into a black bin liner. It stank and was dripping. Nice concept but in reality, all it takes is some rain and lots of wee and it becomes an issue. The other thing is the dog kept walking the wee into the flat as the patch was really wet. We found Porch Potty a much better option due to the drainage. The other big factor is that it's extremely expensive. £30 every 3 weeks is totally bonkers. Porch Potty is £174.99 and never needs replacing - much better value for money and a much better product.

We have checked your order history and can see that your Piddle Patch was delivered quite a while ago on January 6th.
It is a living product and does require some care for optimal performance. We do advise that your Piddle Patch is sheltered and not exposed to excessive rain as this can impact its lifespan and performance. Whilst the grass will eventually dry, it can take some time to do so, especially in the colder months.
Piddle Patch is also a living product and it will need to be replaced with use. How frequently you change the grass depends on a number of factors such as the size and age of your dog, as well as how frequently it’s being used, along with the care your Piddle Patch receives.
You can find lots of helpful information on our website about the lifespan and how to care for your Piddle Patch, and we are also very happy to answer any questions you may have and provide guidance and support by email.
There are lots of wonderful benefits to using a natural, environmentally friendly product like Piddle Patch.
As a natural grass product, Piddle Patch provides sensory benefits to dogs that they do not receive with a plastic astroturf solution. They are able to recognise the smell, feel, and look of real grass and learn its role in the toileting process. For many pups, this makes it a much easier housetraining process. A real grass dog toilet can also prevent your dog from associating textile products, like rugs and towels, as a place to relieve themselves in the home. For many dogs, especially smaller breeds, this can be a habit that can be hard to break once established.
While astroturf is a plastic grass product that can last much longer than Piddle Patch, it is not without its own challenges. The individual blades of grass can be exceptionally difficult to clean, resulting in a build-up of bacteria and smell over time which cannot easily be removed, even with the use of harsh cleaning chemicals and bleaches.
Many dog owners also prefer to limit their use of plastics in favour of a more natural and environmentally-friendly solution.

We would 100% recommend Piddle Patch
We would 100% recommend Piddle Patch, despite being a little sceptical to begin with.
When we first ordered, we opened the box and our IG pup immediately peed on it. She has kept using it, and we're now at 95% of the time, after around 12 weeks of use. Overall it's made toilet training much, much easier than with our first puppy.
The really good thing is that it has also seemed to make her much more likely to go on grass or greenery, rather than the pavement on paths. This means hardly any picking up on walks!
We've been using Piddle Patch for around 12 weeks and have been transitioning to going outside more, so scaled back on deliveries. That alleviated my concern of having to keep a weekly subscription indefinitely.
Lastly it's always reliably delivered with a consistently high quality product!

What a great way to start puppy training. Tootsie had very few accidents, when she did it was due to me not recognising the signals or not being in the room. I completely recommend piddlepatch to all puppy owners.
