Story behind the name
In the early 1600s, Dutch explorers set sail to unknown parts of the world, eventually boasting the largest naval fleet on Earth. To protect themselves from bad luck, mariners inked tattoos of a pig and a hen on their feet because crates of pigs and hens were oftentimes the only items left floating after a shipwreck. The sailors believed a pig and hen tattoo would help them not only survive the strongest of storms, but also allow them to float back safely to their beloved homeland.

Choosing the delivery option doesn't really work
When making my order I specifically chose PostNl as delivery option. But my order got shipped by DHL. DHL failed to deliver my order to my address and also they failed to deliver to the nearest pickup point. I wrote 2 emails to Pig&Hen support but they were not answered for a few days until I finally called and asked for refund.

If more than 1 item is ordered, this can also be a gift box, it cannot be sent as letterbox mail and our warehouse uses a different carrier.
Strange that your parcel has returned to sender, due to the enormous workload in the customer service department it may take longer before you get an answer from us. How good that you called us about this situation, so we could solve it for you.
