Dangerously broken app
This app used to be good, but now it is so horribly broken that it has almost physically harmed me multiple times. Updates often wipe out important information like refill reminders and dosages. Sometimes it just decides not to remind me of a dose at all, or reschedules them for no reason without asking me. Sometimes it marks some of the meds in a dose but not others. You also can't set the alarm to repeat for very long or it will keep the screen on and overheat your phone, making it basically useless for morning doses or doses that you have to wake up in the night for. The "battery saver" setting does not fix this, it just darkens the screen slightly while keeping it on. It has already damaged my phone battery. It's also nearly impossible to change settings on medications, because every time you click through to a different screen a huge, almost full page ad pops up that you have to wait several seconds to close. The only way to prevent this is to pay for premium, for an app that barely works.
The worst part, though, is how the customer service handles this. Every time you report an issue, you will be responded to by a customer service rep who will immediately set about aggressively trying to blame you for all of the problems. You will go back and forth with them for ages that you're not completely tech illiterate and have already tried everything they are suggesting, and you do not have a phone that just magically does not work with their app specifically. And when you DO finally manage to convince them that the issue is in fact with their app, they just go "Okay, I've noted the issue :))))" and then just never fix it. The problems just keep adding up, and many app-breaking bugs have existed for months without any kind of fix. Instead they seem to just spend their time making aesthetic changes and nothing else.
There aren't many apps like this one, but at this point anything that isn't a danger to my health is better, even if I do have to pay a subscription for it.
