Pilot Scram Pinion Smartshift
The Titanium Gravel bike is comfortable, reliable and needs low maintenance. It takes some time and tryouts to get used of the smart shifter. Its easy to add bike packing on since there are a lot of connections on the frame.
Frame: Comfortable and absorbing shocks. Very easy to remove scratches from the frame.
Smart Shift: It’s not always appropriate that it shifts to a lower or higher gear. In that case, the manual shifter is very useful. There are still some wires coming out of the frame. This makes the bike very sensitive for cable ruptures in case of a fall.
Overall, the maintenance of the bike is very low. It’s easy to change the wheel since the belt fits perfectly at the gear of the wheel.
Service: This is my second Pilot delivered by a company in “De Dieze” in the Netherlands. Because of unforeseen circumstances it took some time between the order and the delivery of the Pilot. I’m very grateful that P.V.D.M took over the ownership to continue to develop and deliver the great brand of Pilot Bikes ✌️
