Do not book this hotel

Upon arriving at the hotel on 7th August, we were told that our booking had been cancelled because we had 'arrived a day late'. After lengthy conversations and my insistence that our booking was for the 7th, and an emergency phonecall to Loveholidays the hotel manager eventually said that we were booked in on the 7th ( Only after I loaded the booking confirmation etc). This was extremely distressing.

After unpacking etc and noticing that our room was dated and dingy, we opened the balcony doors to an airconditioning unit which was unsightly and loud ( both rooms were on the same corridor and opened to the same sight)
The next awful incident occured when my daughter cut into raw meat - which my husband had already eaten - from the all inclusive. He was sick all night. We told the hotel staff but again, they didn't seem phased.

I lifted a slice of bread to find a grub. It was vile, after this we could not eat in the hotel and had to borrow over £600 from family in order to eat 1 substantial meal a day. We approached the hotel REP about this who did not seem surprised and replied with 'I will tell the kitchen, what else can I do?'
There were cockroaches in the public toilets and around the pool, dead flies in cups and stains everywhere. Even the shower curtain was yellow and the carpets full of stains. Our balcony had a large piece of shattered glass running through it and a broken chair.

Overall, this is not the 4star holiday that we booked and paid for. I was on the phone up to 4 times, every single day. I reached out to the hotel reception and rep as well.
Also, during our stay it was not until Thursday 15th August that we were offered alternative accommodation with equally gross reviews and I believe this was only offered as the hotel is run by the same company. Had this have been a nicer hotel we would have moved, be it only for 4 nights... but it was not an option to pack and unpack to face further disappointment.
I have read the ATOL and holiday insurance claim procedure, and as per the policy I am complaining as none of the facilities were 4star, there was no games room (apparently the owner was away on holiday with the keys). There wasn't any evening entertainment and the pool bar ran out of ice every days. Sift drinks were left open, going warm, on the side - they weren't even kept in a fridge.
During my stay, I received a single call back from Loveholidays whereas I rang up on 13 separate occasions.

Another week has passed without any form of communication from yourselves. I would like to know how you are going to compensate us for this £4,435 holiday that was appalling on every level. FYI I have been to the GP today as I have been unwell since returning from Turkey and the GP has just confirmed that I had a Gastrointestinal infection from contaminated food. Disgusting.

Please stay elsewhere especially if you have little ones

4 adults and 5 children later we arrive at this hotel at 2am. Kids feeling very tired we were given our rooms. Porters available not one asked us if we would like any help we our luggage. Reaching our room we have realised we were given the wrong room (less beds) After complaining to staff we gave up as they shoved another mattress bed in our room. As we closed the curtain half of it fell off. Still remaining optimistic I thought tomorrow we be a better day. My son (2yrs) needed milk, so I look for the kettle... no kettle and reception do not provide nor do they have such amenity in a supposedly 4* hotel.

The tv did not turn on/only 1 battery in the remote. These are just a few of the problems we faced. Above all, I found the staff rude, unhelpful and unwilling to help. Staff only appeared to be attentive to certain customers which I found very discriminating.

The food- well well well. I would not feed my dog what they served. As they say you get what you pay for! However on this occasion we did pay the odds for this hotel. The food was cold, poorly presented and as though the chefs cooking had no passion on what they were making.

It states they have Internet in the hotel, please do not be fooled by this. It only works in the reception area. If you want internet in your room (and only in your room) you have to pay £35.

I have traveled far and wide and this by far was the worst experience of a hotel.
