I see a lot of negative reviews here and have to say I received my order after 1 month on saturday and it works fantastically well, despite the fact I cannot get the wireless controllers to connect. Bought as a gift and they are delighted and currently using an xbox controller and it works great. Thousands of games to choose from. Delivery was late, however some delays to be expected. All round a great service and happily purchase from piretrogaming again

I ordered a console on the 27th July (order 126675) I was told I would have my order in 14 days due to a backlog, after many false promises and lies I asked for a refund on the 1st October, I was told this would take 10-14 days! I’ve still not had any money back and yet more lies regarding my refund!
I will be taking court action as I want my £245 back. I have been blocked from posting on their Facebook site and they have stopped replying to my emails! AVOID THE COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!

Ordered Superior system but had to wait 2 months In October so requested a refund, however nothing back so far so I have been forced to go through small claims court - really poor PRG - see you in court where costs will be higher if you had just refunded £195 originally!

Awful company. Ordered a Superior console. Cancelled the order when told it would take 2 months to deliver it. This was on the 1 October. I am still waiting for my money back. This company just lies and lies. First Dave was looking into it. Then their bank account was frozen. Then worryingly they said if I gave them my bank information they would get a third party to give me the money back!! “Dave” is now back looking into it. I am certain “Dave” doesn’t exist and this is just a big con. Do not use....

About a year ago I bought the App from this company and everything worked great on tablet / mobile. So much so that when I came into some birthday money I ordered an ultimate console on the 9th Oct, website said 3-5 working day delivery and secure payment.
Decided to take the plunge despite the negative reviews as they appeared to be mainly from last years orders and the app was spot on.
6 weeks later and still no console. I have been chasing them up every few days about it, sometimes I get a reply and other times I get ignored causing me to contact them again. I have had replies about stock issues, email issues and others that say the console is ready to dispatch and will by the end of that particular day or week.
Still Nothing, not a thing.
Last email from them (Dave) was Thursday and said “I have your console, once I have the controllers on Tuesday it will be with you Wednesday”
Emailed and Facebook message on Tuesday to ask how the dispatch of the console is getting on and no reply to either.
In relation to the secure payment, it was a bank transfer and I cannot reclaim it through the bank. Please be aware.
I certainly feel very angry, upset and little gutted that my 40th birthday money which was used as a rare treat to myself has been basically “stolen”
If I receive my console soon I will amend the review into a more positive experience as maybe they have been experiencing stock issues but for the moment this review reflects how I feel.
Edit - Wednesday came and gone with no console and no reply to my email or Facebook message from the Tuesday either.......
Further update - good news, I have my Ultimate console! Taken nearly 7 weeks but had a very quick go on it earlier and it seems really good. Rating has been upgraded to show the fact I have a console. Thanks guys.

Order 129228 on 08/09/19 I have Autism also have heart disease and heart failure tried to cancel my order but they refuse to answer my emails tried to get a disability charity to help they didn't answer them as well. Not sure what to do to get my £245 back tried for over a month to get a response but nothing as I am very ill just now came on quickly unable to play games for very long due to fatigue so I cancelled but I never get my refund. edit had communication from them didn't email me back when they said they would still no refund don't reply to my emails

So I ordered a console which arrived within a few days as promised.
Then I had a few support questions which were all answered within the hour.
Now I'm playing all my old favourites and absolutely loving it.

Ordered a superior console on the 5th of September and was told 4/5 weeks before I received my console and I’m still waiting been told yours will be sent next week a few times now by PRG and even given a tracking number that did not work and they said the post office lost it seems like I’m just getting fobbed off with excuse after excuse . I have even been told my console is ready but they are short of controllers . If I get my console by this Friday the 15th of November 129197 I will amend this review of the company PRG retro pi . They sent me a tracking number as the stated below that they posted it and it got lost 🤔🤥 I sent this tracking number to my brother who works for Royal Mail to check and he come back saying it did not exist and was made up . Have been promised now from the 15th of October it will be with me the week after every week since and I’ve still not received my order .

I would like to say firstly that this first review I’ve ever done on a business, let alone on an online business that I came across on Facebook.
I ordered and paid for my supreme system on the 6th Oct 2019 not realising that there such a negative agenda against PRG. I then came across there trust pilot page and I have to admit I was taken aback with so many people suggesting the company was a Scam. I’ll be honest I thought myself I had totally messed up, however from reading the company’s responses stating they had supplier issues I thought I’d give them a chance and keep calm. I personally own a number of small businesses and fully understand things sometimes go wrong. I messaged that lads and explained about the reviews and how I had bought the console as a gift. Within an hour I received a message saying that I would get the system within 8 weeks but if I told them a date I needed it for they would try there best to get it out sooner. True to there word I got my system on the 10th November 2019. About the system it took me a little while to figure things out because I had changed a few controller settings by mistake. However the aftercare service by the lads has been brilliant and they have helped me wherever possible. I know a lot of people have had issues, however I know for a fact that these guys are trying there best to get clear there back log. I really don’t think slagging them or being aggressive helps your situation.just talk to them like a decent humans and don’t treat them like rubbish and they will go above and beyond. People may think this is a fake review but trust me it isn’t and My son is really happy with his gift so far. I am sure if I ever was to have any other issues with the system the lads would help me out. Would definitely deal with them again !!!!!

I ordered a Superior console for my autistic brother as a Christmas gift in December 2018.
Since this time I have not received the console despite frequent requests for updates. I requested a refund in February but this was not granted, instead I received a number of e-mails making various excuses for delays.
It is now nearly 12 months since I ordered a console from PRG and there has been no further progress in resolution.
I therefore write this review as a warning not to make the same mistake because, as it stands, it appears PRG are not fulfilling their orders and keeping people’s money.
I am willing to consider modifying this review should PRG wish to finally fulfil the order.
RESPONSE TO PI RETRO GAMING REPLY 12.11.19:
I have given my order number and date of order. Is this not sufficient information to identify my order? It’s unacceptable to reply “I have no idea who you are”. What is the purpose of the order number you provide?
I have e-mailed you and you have not replied.
Please reply to my email and give specific details on a) sending me the product ordered or b) providing me with a direct bank transfer to refund the money sent to you on 06.12.18.
