Great Training and Value for Money

I Completed the excel courses offered by Pitman Training and found the courses to be very professional and provided great content. Both Gemma and David at the Nottingham Branch were knowledgeable and experienced and the training sessions were engaging and interactive. The course content was well-structured and easy to follow, and the trainers were always available to answer any questions I had.

Overall, I would highly recommend this training company to anyone looking for professional training with great content. The trainers are experts in their field and are committed to helping their students succeed. If you’re looking to improve your skills and knowledge, this is the company for you!

Following up on your response.

I asked was there a cooling off period from the course, the answer I was given was no, because the course was sent out.

When I completed InDesign and Photoshop I was offered a partial refund. This was useless to me as I would not have got any kind of qualification at the end of the course. l would have lost alot of money, at that stage I had no choice but to continue.

Don't tell me I was offered a refund, like you offered to reimburse everything to me for this useless Course. This is not the case at all.

A friend of mine told me recently, that a while back he was in contact with Pitman about your Adobe course, apparently he was given the same amazing speech you gave me at the start.

Please do not take me as a fool.

I attended my RO5 Exam 18th December 2023, this is the second time I have attended at Sheffield and I thought the service was again very professional. Made me feel at ease everything was explained clearly and staff were very helpful and accommodating

Pitman Training Sheffield

I recently sat my AAT Synoptic Exam on Thursday morning and i couldn't recommended a better place to sit an exam. It was very friendly and welcoming and and a nice bright environment to sit the exam. But i would also say this is thanks to the 2 ladies in the reception area - I remember one was called Kristina and i forgot the other ladies name but both was amazing and helped me so much

Do not waste your money

Do not waste your money! I am months in and have had countless problems . I could not log in and found that Brighton is shut for 2 weeks . I struggled 2 weeks after that till the last emailed showed my DOB was wrong . HQ change my email causing 2 accounts and me having to resubmit by retyping my 1 st assessment on the other account. Now on my day off ready for 2nd assessment its locked . I cant do it and they shut Mondays. Text books have many mistakes and contradictory answers to online .

The Manager for Pitman Training Brighton was on holiday during the early stages of your enrolment and this did not help to get matters resolved in a timely manner as were left short-staffed. This was very unfortunate. Again, we apologise.

These sorts of errors, mentioned above, are extremely rare occurrences, but in your case, they all happened at the same time. We are very regretful about this as we strive to deliver an excellent experience and service to all of our students.

The Diploma that you are studying is one of, if not the most challenging Diploma in our range; the Diploma in Accounting AAT Level-4. We certainly want to support you as much as we possibly can to successfully complete your Diploma. As well as the team in Pitman Training Brighton, we also provide expert 'Finance & Accounting' Tutors to support you through your study journey.

Nicky, all we ask is that you please give us a second chance. The unfortunate comedy of errors that occurred during the initial weeks following your enrolment are unprecedented. These mistakes almost never occur like this.

Please re-engage with us and we will do our utmost to support you all the way and help you to successfully complete your Diploma with us.

Disappointing

After several weeks of trying to get the Birmingham branch to answer their telephone, I finally contacted another branch who kindly said they would pass my details onto the Birmingham branch and would be sent an email containing information about the 3 courses i intended to take. I have more chance of speaking to Elvis than what I have with this branch. I find it ironic that Pitman teach secretarial courses when their own staff cannot carry out basic admin tasks such as answering the telephone and emailing. Have given up on this company before even starting a course -Disappointing

Misleading advertising about tutors.

They advertise that you have your own tutor (Diarmuid), but he doesn't know anything about the course you are taking. He send the question to the 'customer service', and you get the response when you get it. I got the Payroll course and I haven't finished it cause they stop answering. I emailed my tutor and he never bother to answer back. Also, the book had many mistakes. I do not recommend it.

Our perspective on this is rather different;

The workbook does not contain any errors - we even had this double-checked by our Curriculum Development team.

As you say, you were studying on our Payroll Course, which we would consider reasonably 'technical' in nature. Therefore, many of our staff, including Diarmuid, may not be confident to answer technical questions. So, in your case, we did attempt to arrange additional support from one of our Payroll Tutors (Dearan Boyle). We offered the support either, by telephone or, face-to-face, in our Pitman Training Centre in Galway. Despite our efforts, you chose not to take up this offer of additional support.

We can see from our records that the technical questions that you did pose during the period that you were studying were all answered by either Diarmuid or by our Customer Support team in a timely manner.

From our records, we know that you were struggling to study the course within the allotted timeframe. You mentioned that your work commitments were hindering your ability to study. So, as a gesture of goodwill, we extended your course duration (free of charge) by a further 3 months. However, at this stage, back in April 2022, you appeared to stop studying and no longer logged into the course and did not visit the Training Centre again. This was disappointing to us, as we always encourage our students to persist and to complete their course, but we do understand that sometimes life gets in the way and other things may take priority.

We would welcome you to visit us at Pitman Training Galway so that we can discuss the options for you recommence studying the payroll course.

Pitmans Watford - What a breath of fresh air

Neil and Dip who run both Watford and Enfield Centres are driven motivated ambitious and creative in how they manage their Centres and want the best for their students. Nothing is to much, the answer is Yes, what is the question?!

Anyone thinking of taking a course at either centre, all I can say is do not hesitate. In these centres you are not alone and there is support with a smile!

Neil and Dip also run an in-house recruitment so that by the time you have finished your course, if you are looking for employment they will probably have found you a job.

Never did I expect the service with a smile I receive, I have almost completed my academics and looking at the possibility of starting a job in August - Happy customer :)

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would , they are nothing but a rip off all they care about is getting money off you and I was never told when I started that you can’t get out of the coarse if you decide it’s not for you or have other things going on in life I’m paying them over 3 grand for literally nothing the coarse is useless your paying to have their name on your cv that’s all save your time and money biggest regret of my life is signing that contract just don’t do it
They also tried to take 130 out of my bank account twice in one day when I’m only menat to pay 30€ a week with no warning or head up or explanation whatsoever

Thank you for your review and feedback on your experience with us. It seems there is a misunderstanding regarding the payments for your course fees.

When you enrolled last January, you selected an instalment plan of €31.65 per week. Our accounts team contacted you when your payments failed in May of this year to see how we could help. You requested we instead “take a month's worth” each month on the 10th day of the month, so the first of these instalments of €126.60 was requested on the 10th of June. This is the equivalent of 4 weekly instalments, slightly less than a full monthly equivalent as you requested.

As you know, our team check-in with you weekly, and we were happy to see as recently as the end of May that you were pleased with your progress and happy with the training and support provided. It was therefore disappointing to receive this review, as we are always available to help and support you in any way we can to complete your training. For example, we are happy to support you with a reduced instalment plan to cover your remaining fees, or an extension to your training deadline, if helpful.

We will do our best to contact you, so we can discuss your concerns further and do everything we can to help. In the meantime, please feel free to contact any of the team at the training centre at any time that suits.

Outstanding Support and great training

At the start of the year, i finished my Virtual Assistant Diploma with a Distinction. I cannot thank Neil, Dip and Fatouma enough for the support they have given me.
This has lead me to land a role as an Executive Assistant at J.P Morgan! This course has lead me into a new career and learnt new skills, that i never thought imaginable. I definitely recommend Pitman Training to anyone, the team are so friendly and helpful.

In fact, our focus is to ensure every student can enrol on a training programme that is tailored exactly to their requirements, so that no student wastes any of their valuable time or money.

Our training programmes are designed and customised to each individual's exact training and career objectives. Unlike other training providers, that have “off the shelf” training programmes with specific start and end dates, common course content and little flexibility, with Pitman Training in Kerry, every programme is unique to that individual.

We take the time to meet with every prospective student in advance of enrolment to answer all questions, help them identify their exact training and career objectives and to agree their perfect training programme. This training programme may also include career services such as assistance with preparing online CVs, practising interview techniques or portfolio development as well as options in training platform access, materials, workbooks, certification, prior learning recognition, course levels, electives etc

While our courses range from less than one day to over 2 years in duration, to give you some guidance on typical fees, our individual courses start at €175 and our Diploma and Awards range starts at €900. We also offer a range of instalment plans for all our training programmes, where you have the option to pay your fees weekly or monthly for as little as €20 per week. Guildford center

Visited the Guildford center two weeks ago for my exam. (This was my 6th visit).
On my last visit, I had couple of issues, none of those were created by Pitman. Rachel and Mandi were so helpful and really supported me. Everything was fixed before the exam was due to start. I was able to relax and go through the exam which I have successfully passed.
